Also what is it? How does it work? Is it an old machine? A data entry clerk job said this was something I would be operating. I have never even heard of it. I've looked it up on the internet and I can find nothing other than other people asking what one looks like.

I work 9-5 as a data entry clerk for the summer. I get an hour for lunch and 15 minute breaks every two hours. It's not a horrible gig, since I don't have a supervisor, but my computer activity is logged. I work essentially alone in a cubicle separate from the rest of the office. Any ideas on ways to make my job suck less? Quitting isn't an option since I need the money and it pays better than most other jobs.

I just got a job as a data entry clerk. Basically for about 7 hours a day I'm sitting in front of a computer in a room filled with other people sitting at a computer entering data into various fields. Today was only my second day and I already have a stress headache from the lights and the glare. I don't want to take medication every day and I know that it won't help the situation, so how can I prevent more headaches?

I'm a data entry clerk and I make good money. I'm dealing with a change in management where the new manager is trying to push me into doing customer service which I can't stand doing. I quit my last job because I didn't want to be a customer service rep. Everyone knows that no matter what company you're at. The customer service department is always the bottom of the totem poll.

My friend worked briefly as a finance clerk also. Does she have the skills/experience to work as a word processor. What exactly are the duties of a word processor? Thanks.

There is a part time data entry position available at a medical office, and I would love the job. From what I have heard, the only requirement is 1 year in a customer service position, and I have been working in retail for about 3 years. What are some things I should include in my resume in order to get hired? Thanks.

I have a job interview tomorrow morning and I'm 18 - its for an office job, a data entry clerk position I was wondering ... how early should I show up? I was first thinking 15 minutes, but then I wondered if something happened (if I couldn't find the suite or something) I should go there 45 minutes early, and then be in the office 20 minutes early? Is 30 minutes too early to show up for an interview?
