I want a job as a hospital admissions representative but I have no former experience. I am a senior in college and will be graduating in May. My major is speech pathology and I plan on working in a hospital after med school next fall. I'm very smart and dependable. How can I get my foot in the door working in a hospital if every position requires previous experience? I live in Atlanta, GA

I just started college in September. I am going to school to get my Associate's Degree in Health Services Administration. I was just wondering what jobs I could get with it. Where would be the best place to get a job: hospital, doctor's office, etc.? Where would offer more security? Which would offer better benefits and pay?

I am really interested in a career in healthcare. I am working on a BS in Health Science, but I need a job now and would like to go ahead and work in the health field. I was looking online at the hospitals here in town and they are hiring for patient access and account representatives. They are also hiring for admissions/registration. Are there certificates I can earn is school for these positions? Healthcare Science Certificate, Health Care Assistant Certificate, Medical Coding Certificate, Medical Front Office Assistant Certificate are the certificates my school offers. Would it be worth my time and money to earn one of these certificates? Thank you. No, they don't ask for experience. That is the reason I was looking at these positions. They just ask for a high school diploma or GED. I was looking into getting a certificate to help me get a job.

I understand the financial objections to providing a Universal Health Care system to America. My question is: Does the government have a moral or ethical responsibility to provide a means for citizens to recieve the best healthcare possible? If yes, what other moral obligations do you believe the government has to it's populus? If no, does the government have any moral obligation to it's people? Please answer the question without talking about money. Thank you.
