1. A person trained to give guidance on personal, social, or psychological problems. School Counselors don't do that though. They make schedules, and end fights, and talk about college. Trust me, I found out the hard way!! Why cant they be called the "Scheduler, or Schedule Secretary" not counselor. It don't make sense.

I've been with my company for 1 1/2 years and the person in charge of purchasing just quit. I've had several positions within the company, most recently I was moved into her office to assist her as well as do my current duties. In January of this year, there were three employees working in three positions (Production Mgr, Master Scheduler and Purchasing Asst). One quit and one got fired, and I do all three jobs now, with little problem. When the Purch.assistant quit, instead of hiring another one, I was asked if I would be interested in taking over those tasks and I received a 6K raise. I agreed. I've moved to purchasing two weeks ago, and now I'm the only one in here! Instead of hiring a new Purchasing Agent, they are transferring another office person here to train (they offered him 10K raise, but he makes less than me). So... I just got 6K raise to assist, but now I have the most experience and am talking to all the vendors. Do I bring up another raise? Help/advice pl

I was reading and it said that someone was just graduating as a construction project manager. Does that mean they went to college for the whole four years or is it just a few classes you have to take and you get a certificate or something?
1 answer - Asked By: Rosie - 1/2/2010
Alright, so I'll start by saying that I'm currently a sophomore in Highschool. We recently got schedulers for next year's classes, which caused this question to pop up: what do I want to do when I graduate? I am a lover of the sciences, so the many fields of science leave me with many options. At this moment, I am stuck between biomedical engineering, and genetic engineering. I've read online what each job entails, and both seem good to me. If I had to choose, I would choose genetics though. Does this career have a good outlook, IE, would it have good salary, job openings, etc? Now, my main predicament is my class choices. In terms of sciences, I already have biology and chemistry under my belt. Next year, physics is mandatory, and I'll also be in precalc. I have room for one elective next year. The options are Forensics, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochem/Molecular Biolgy, and Bio-Medical Design and Developement. My senior year should leave me room for 4 electives if I did my math right. I can then take the classes listed above, as well as 3 others. They are AP Chem, AP Bio, and AP Physics. Which ones would help me achieve, or at least give me an idea if the concepts towards these careers? Also, which colleges (preferably in New York) offer programs for these careers? I don't plan on having an easy senior year, so please don't suggest that, unless you actually can back it up. Thank you!

Just curious about air force loadmaster job. 1)How hard is the math to be a loadmaster? i am not that great at math, but i am decent and i have passed my math classes except algebra 1, but i passed it later. 2). What other courses do loadmasters take other than their job training? do they do the water survival test? what about other courses? 3) can loadmasters be or get airborne qualified. like do static jumps? 4) sometimes i see pics with load masters carrying guns. whY? do load masters get to see combat at all? do they get into some heavy action at all? or are they always connected with their plane? 5). How often would an loadmaster go up with the plane in a week or so? are hours straight forward, or can you get some awkward hours? 6) if you have been an air force loadmaster, did you like your job? why? If you had a chance to go back and make a choice of either being an infantryman or a loadmaster, would you choose loadmaster again?why? if you are out of the air force, what job did you get after being a loadmaster. Thanks! i am aware there is no air force infantry. just asking that last question because army infantry is something i am interested in too.
