What do you think about the PSE clerk position in USPS ?

I am offered the job as PSE clerk by USPS, but I hear it is a good position. I currently work in a retail position and get only $10 an hour. Has anyone worked as PSE clerk and is it worth to leave my steady job?

PSE Clerk is a newly created classification. After your first 360 day appointment and, if you are reappointed for a 2nd year, you will earn vacation days as well as be given the option to participate in the health benefits plans.
