“Taking a traditional high street retailer (eg. Holland & Barratt), can you present ideas on how they should be developing their direct selling strategy to ensure future sales growth on their website”. We’re looking for a focus on how to drive sales on the website. So focus on usability, seo, ppc, display advertising, social media etc. This is for a job interview. Any ideas? Most high street retailers have pretty good websites so not sure how to get started.

However, aside from the standard required elements, what specific information do you think should be in these documents? Do you have one version of your resume that you send in response to every advertised job position? How many different versions of your resume should you have? What information is appropriate or not appropriate to include in your resume and cover letter? Should your resume display your photo? How does the information in your cover letter relate to the advertised job responsibilities? How does the information in your cover letter relate to the information in your resume?

Assuming that it is possible to obtain print quality images from the internet (Google Images), can I print a poster, frame it, and display it in a store solely for the purpose of decorating a store? The image will not claim to be an original and it will never be sold under any circumstance. It is in the store for viewing purposes only. The artist has passed away but the copyright time (in years) has not passed. Thanks in advance for your answer.

I am interested in applying for a Communications Assistant position for a non-profit company. The job posting asks for a cover letter, resume and writing sample. I have the first two covered, but I'm a bit perplexed about what I should use as a writing sample. I haven't done a lot of substantial writing since college (there's plenty of that, though, as an English major) but I don't see how a literary critique or expose article could be relevant. Any ideas about what they may be looking for?

I have a semi-profitable website/store. It gets a decent amount of traffic and I'd like to make some money advertising. I see Google's Adsense program and am going to give that a try. Has anyone had any luck making money with Google? Are there other similar programs by other companies? I don't want to waste my time or gunk up my site with things that are not profitable. Thanks!!

My last job was holding a big sign for a store out on the highway to bring in customers. Now I'm looking for a new job, but I don't know what I should put as the job title on my resume. I don't want to write "Sign Holder" because that sounds really bad, but I don't want to say something like "Sales Representative" because that seems misleading. Is there any official title for a job like this?
