 | I plan on going to study 3D Motion Graphics using Cinema 4D, Maya, or any equivalent program. I also plan on specializing in 2D programs such as After Effects and Final Cut.
But my main worry is: Would it be easy to get a job for being a Motion Graphics Designer?
I want to have the job in New York (where I live) and REALLY don't want to be a freelance designer
Please give some examples where I can find a job. Thank You!

 | Hi, i make 3d animation and motion graphics for tv ads. A friend recently got a deal with a tv network to make 30 animations, he wants to split the earnings 50-50 buy im doing all the work and all the equipment is mine, so I dont beleive a 50-50 split is fair, what percentage would be fair to give him for getting the job? I almost forgot but he got the job by showng my demo-reel.

 | Alright, so I'm really interested in doing something with visual effects and motion graphics. The Art Institute offers a program in this, but I've heard a lot of bad things about the school. I don't really think the Art Institute is a good school to go to, but what are some of my other options for this field?

 | I am a graduate student majoring in motion graphics/new media. I am looking for an internship to get myself into the industry. There is one studio I would very much like to intern at - but they are about 1000 miles away. I am willing to leave my family and go, but are internships usually paid or unpaid?
I am unsure how to support myself if I am interning 8 hours a day. Can anyone help in this respect? I don't know anyone who has done an art internship before.
Thanks in advance.

 | Alright, I have a BA in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics from an accredited School, but because of the non-exisistant job market I would like to go into my second love which is History, and particularly teaching it. I would like to go to an On-line school due to financial & time reasons, as I am currently stuck in Las Vegas at the moment (apartment lease). Any suggestions as to how to start, and where to go? and whats needed? I'm trying to stay in the area or South West at least. Thanks!

 | Which direction to study further in to best off financially:
*What type of company should you work for (e.g agency, freelance and etc.) and what should your job title be?
e.g Desktop publishing, web design, motion graphics, 3D animation, 3D design, industrial design, DTP operator, layout specialist, package design and etc.
I studied industrial design + motion graphics + DTP + web page design + package design but i don't know what direction to go in to make the best of my studies and my experience.

 | I want to do the media studies course at my local college but not sure what jobs I can go into after wards or what would be a realistic job I could go into. I don't want to be left jobless after the course because there is nothing I can do.
P.S I don't need to do any A levels do I, I can just go straight to college?

 | I''m in year 10 and i'm taking art, photography, graphics and drama (really bad at drama).I love doing art but the jobs out there for art is more clothes and dressing up windows. That just sounds boring to me. In photography, i know it sounds strange but I'm really not bothered about the photos as I am working with Photoshop. I love working in Photoshop and Gimp. With Graphics again I love the Photoshop side and the drawing side, I'm not so much for business ideas or record labels. I was wondering what I could do for a job that just involves either drawing or Photoshop or something that doesn't include me opening my own business. I just want a job until I've saved up 200,000 odd because then I plan to open my own business, but id have to build it from scratch not just rent a shop. I only don't want to open a business before then because ive watched my parents just fail and i want a job that's stable and also fun so i can raise that much. I don't want to be messing about with different wages and unsteady incomes. Any ideas what job i could do? I was going to be come a art teacher but it would involve going to uni and that's one thing i seriously don't want to do. Any ideas?
