I've worked two ramp jobs at the same time with two contracted airline ground support companies with no issues, but I heard SWA won't allow employees to work for another airline. What if you work ramp for SWA and cargo for Delta?

I applied for a ramp agent job with skywest airlines and the deadline was on the 10th of April. After the deadline I went to my application status and it said "application received" and now it says "referred to www.skywest.com" what does that mean? Does it mean that my application passed or rejected?

The Job hiring Advertisements for them say that a Drivers license is required for the position but maybe they could mean any valid ID which is either a Drivers license or a non-driver ID. Ramp agents I think may be required to operate something similar to regualer car or vehicle. I don't what is the name of the vehicle they operate.

I have a job interview tomorrow for ATS as a ramp agent. What should I expect? What should I wear? I was thinking of just wearing nice jeans and a long sleeve polo. Should I bring my DD214 and all my Navy qualifications with me?

I've been a commercial pilot for the last two years, but I've come to the realization that I hate this lifestyle and I'm in despirate need of a change. That being said, I still love working at airports and I'm chaning jobs to ramp agent even while I type this. But that job doesn't always pay the best of wages so I'm going to need some real skill in a few years. So I'm considering becomeing an aircraft mechanic. I just don't know how to go about it.

I had an interview for last Wednesday and I thought it went pretty well. They said they would call back either Friday or Monday to let me know if I was going to be hired. I took the liberty to call Monday around 4 and the lady said she was out of town since my interview and said a recruiter should have contacted me instead. I gave her my phone number again and she said they would call sometime today. Should I just give up on this one? The job I interviewed for was a ramp agent for Frontier Airlines, does it just take a while for airlines to hire?

I'll possibly have a phone interview sometime this week, and I want to know what kind of people they are looking for. I already work at the airport as a baggage handler so hopefully that will give me points..only asking those that are ramp agent recruiters or ramp agents themselves.

I'm trying to find a job at an airline. I'm trying to apply for all airlines such as JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Virgin America, Delta Airlines, American Airlines, and United Airlines. But I want to know which is the best airline. I'd really like to work at LAX or LGB if possible. Right now, I'm a cargo handler at LAX and I'm really hoping for a job at an airline as a ramp agent or baggage handler. As long as I can get flight benefits. Can anybody help me? Please let me know!
