What are the education requirements to be an arkansas game warden? How clean does the applicants driving record have to be? I just need some general information on the job, because i am considering this as a possibility if i am eligable.

Normally a four year degree. As long as you do not have a DWI or a serious traffic offense, you should be ok. Former NC Wildlife Officer here.

Game Wardens are law enforcement positions, so the employment requirements are the same. The Arkansas Peace Officer Standards website will have the specifics.

Most game warden agencies want some college, classes in wildlife are preferred. Driving is very subjective, and varies by department, but a lot of tickets or accidents and/or a DUI in the last seven years probably would not be the best record to have. There should be a recruiter you can talk to that will have the specifics on the requirements. Most agencies dont want to waste your and their time, so they are generally pretty upfront with what the standards are.
