On average how much to Automobile Technicians get paid a month. As well as Mechanical Engineers?
I am looking into learning a trade and I feel auto repair would be a great job. My local university teaches auto tech and gives certificates for it. Would that be a great route at landing a job and how much schooling do I need?
I'm just wondering what the highest paying jobs are out there that require the least amount of schooling or long term training to enter? Approximately what kind of annual income does each profession generate? Thanks in advance?
Where are the best auto/diesel colleges? Is it worth the money? Where can you learn how to customize cars?
I am considering switching my major to Art. I'm not sure what kind of job i could get with it though. Is there anyone who has a degree in art or knows someone who does? Any ideas of what i could do?
I am getting a degree in math and would like to know what jobs I can get. Thanks!
I am 25 years old and have owned about 5 vehicles in the course of my lifetime. I have always wanted to work on vehicles but I don't know where to start. I was thinking about taking some workshop courses at a communitty college, but I want to learn the ins and outs of automobile repair and resteration! Can somebody please point me in the right direction? Is it to late for me to learn? I want to go from 0 knowledge about how a car works to master mechanic, time issue is not a problem to me because I want to do this as a hobby.
With a certificate or diploma from a trade school.
I know that a lot of the major electronic companies that used to repair devices, now no longer do, but there has to be companies that still hire Electronics Technicians? Does anyone know of any companies, job fields, ect, that still use techs?
A very good friend of mine who is also a sales manager just informed me that he passed on 2 sales people because they were not technically advanced enough for him. I guess they did not know fully how to use the likes of Sales Force or something similar. What's your thoughts on this? I see people like him getting too caught up in "tracking" this - that and the other and wanting good sales people to fully understand the insides and out of how to use a computer.... The job he is hiring for is NOT computer type sales job by the way..
Would you not hire a great sales person because they weren't pros at salesforce or computer technology in general?
Ultimately I want to end up working for a car company designing/testing new cars. This or working with a motorsports division of a manufacturer would be my dream job.
I have a choice between ME and MET at my university. MET seems the easier route, math is not my strongest subject, and I want to have hands on experience with the cars rather than only work with plans/blueprints of them.
Will I be able to land a job in the industry with an bachelors in MET?
Okay I was just wondering how has a mechanics job changed since it started to how much will it change in the future? Will it always be traditional=hard workers, jumpsuits fuels etc.?
So im thinking about majoring in something that involves computers, but im looking for something that builds and designs hardware and i wasn't sure if that is what a Computer Engineer does. if you can tell me what a CE does or jobs that are more into building and designing computer's and hardware i'd appreciate it. thanks!
I'm about to start college but I'm debating whether it would be better to take a 1 year certificate on something, to get a decent paying job, or just go after an the Associates in Art?
This are some of the certificates I have review:
Business Administration on Human Resources.
International Business & trade.
Any recommendation are appreciated.

My boyfriend plans on becoming a mechanic through army training, but me (being his girlfriend and wanting the best for him) noticed that level 1 mechanics don't make very much money. So how does one become a level 2 auto mechanic?
My husband is almost done with his ASE Master Mechanic Certification. His starting Salary at 20 years old was 21 dollars an hour. Now 4 years later and almost done with his Masters, how much better should his income become?
He did go to UTI in Indiana and finish his program in 18 months. However to become a Master you need more education and training.
If it helps we live in michigan.
I have a 2003 Mitsubish Lancer Evolution 8, and I would like to race it semi pro on the track. I am totaly against stret racing, the track is the only place for that. I don't have alot of money so I need to find a sponsor to help me get started. I have no track experience so training would be first. I have lived on windy country roads all of my life so I'm not new to preformance driving and handeling characteristics of automobiles. It has always been a dream of mine to race, but I have never been able to make it a reality. Can you help? or do you know of someone (company) that could?
