Is a Bank Manager (for example at Bank of America or Citibank branch) kind of like retail management (versus corporate manager)? It seems like a lot of Bank Managers are pretty young, that's why I'm wondering what kind of managers they are? Thank you!

I have a research paper to write and need to interview a bank manager (in four different interviews) about the four functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. For the first interview I will be asking questions about planning. The paper has to be a little lengthy, so I want to ask the very best questions without taking up too much of the persons time. Any suggestions?

I just had an interview with a bank manager and a staff manager for a personal banker position within the company. I was very prepared and had thought over and over things to say and answers to questions that would be asked but when it came down to it i don't know why but I got nervous and drew blanks here and there. I was told I should SEND an email to the bank manager if I was worried but what should I say?

I'm a foreign student, so I don't know much about social life in your country. Yesterday my teacher gave me a speaking topic: "Make a conversation between bank manager and client on an appointment about a bank loan to buy a house." I really don't know what should I say, which kind of papers i need, or what the procedure of a bank loan is as well. Would you be kind enough to wite a model conversation of that topic for me, please? Thank you advance.

And what kind of work experience will be helpful? I am thinking of getting a office administration job first to get some experience, is that a good idea? I am graduating from university soon but my degree does not relate to banking or business.

So, I do not know what I want to go to college for. I'm not sure if I should go to a trade school, a university, I have NO direction in life, UGH. The only two careers that appeal to me are acting and writing( not journalism at a newspaper, btw). Those are the only two things I am always completely set on. Everything else I am constantly changing because my mom wants me to find a "stable" job. I went from wanting to be a lawyer to a nurse to a bank manager to a language teacher. You get the picture. All of those things I could NEVER picture myself spending the rest of my life doing or even going to school for. Seems like such a waste of time. I have a real love for cinema. I am a HUGE movie buff. HUGE. Books and movies are my two favorite topics. The thing is I have never taken an acting class before or have been in a drama club. I do not know where to start if I want to be an on screen actress. I just want to be in movies like the ones that have shaped me into the person who I am today. I feel like they have played such a huge part in my life. The characters are a part of me... Do you have any tips and advice on how to get started? I thought about taking acting classes maybe at school. I googled acting classes in my area but they were all so expensive!!! Thanks(:
