Okay, so - my main goal is to do something to help the world/people/animals (like many people!) I considered becoming a doctor, but I am not sure that's for me. (Making decisions is not my strong point!) So, I have considered an environmental sciences major. Would this be practical? Would environmental engineering be better? ANY suggestions? I am interested in stuff like the Peace Corps. The only problem with engineering is I don't really care how things work... I want to go out and make a difference.

I'm interested in becoming a vet assistant? There are no schools in my area so I'm looking at online schools. Is there anyone out there who got there certification or degree online and had success with one of the online schools? I've tried Penn Foster but they were a joke. Any comments or suggestions?

I've been pondering going back to school for a few things - vet tech being one of them. However, I'm concerned that I already make more than your average Vet Tech - so therefore I wouldn't be able to pay off student loans when I am done. Can any Vet Techs out there give me an average salary? Also, Do any of you vet tech's enjoy your job? Whats the worst/best thing about it? THANKS!!

What kind of work could I get with that degree? Would it even be worth going to school for an Associates degree in that field? I have read a lot of other post that say you need a masters degree to set yourself apart, but I do not have that much time. I need to get in and out of school fast so I can start working. Any help with this career decision would be helpfull.

Only serious answers please. I want to become a vet tech but math has always been a weak point of mine. I know there is some science involved but do you exactly have to be smart in order to be a vet tech? If so, I don't think it is the career for me and I don't want to waste my time. haha.Thank you.
