Broadcast News Analyst Job Questions & Answers

News Corp owns both Fox Broadcasting and Fox News, so Sarah Palin's salary as a Fox News political analyst is coming from the parent company's general pool of profits that includes those generated by Family Guy. If she has any principles, shouldn't she quit her job (again) as a form of protest against the slurs Fox has made toward her children?

I've been questionning myself about my dream job lately and I've found out that I got a huge passion about music. I'd like to know if I can fit that interest into a career in the radio industry somehow. Can somebody help me?

So I have a BA in Psychology. Honestly, it's hard finding a job because I need to get my masters. I realized I don't want to pursue a career in psychology. My heart is in journalism and I was told you would be okay just getting a Bachelors for that. So I was planning on applying at another university for a journalism program. I heard it's hard to get grants but I still think it would be cheaper for me to go with a BA in journalism instead of my masters.

I just received my associates degree in history and I'm transferring to a 4 year school in the fall. I cant decide whether I want to continue to get my BA in history and minor in political science, or major in political science and minor in journalism while still having an AS in history. Maybe major in journalism and minor in political science? Either way, all three majors interlink, requiring pretty much most of the same classes. Whatever I do, I want it to involve those three aspects. Im just unsure which degree would be more efficient to find a job and make a higher salary.

I keep seeing them at colleges that I'm investigating. I love to write, stories and occasionally an essay that I love the subject of. I enjoy English class, poetry and everything that we do. I'm just not sure what kind of jobs are out there for a English major or a writing major.

I absolutely LOVE journalism and writing in general, but i realize how little they get paid. I am really smart (#1 in my soph. high school class of 300) and want something more than just the average 20,000 a year u get in a journalism career. does anyone know of something that deals with writing or journalism that gets paid more?

I'd like to work toward a career in journalism... I've been told that a degree in journalism isn't the best way to persue this field, but what is? What "specialty" is in demand? With the decline in print media, is broadcast media a more viable option?
