I am 46 and may need to apply as I got denied unemployment benefits. Are the jobs scarce? I have claims examiner experience only. Won't they wonder why I'm applying? I'll say I love the work, which I do! I'll say it's hard to get jobs as a claims examiner! It sort of is.
I'm relocating to Solano or Contra Costa County and I need a good job. I just earned my certificate in digital arts/animation.
Great traditional arts background, Loads of clerical and customer service (legal assistant and insurance claims examiner), I know how to manage my time, I'm a fabulous team player, Very passionate and I have a good sense of humor.
Please stretch your imaginations on this one. I'm going through a divorce and determined to find a way to make my own way.
Thank you kindly for all input.
I would like to find a medical examiner, job or something like that. That is a work from home position and a legitimate position. Not asking for a huge amount of money. There must be a company that hires and trains entry level positions for stay at home mothers.
A Medical Claims Examiner.
I am currently studying Business Administration and I have read that some of the jobs it leads to are a claims adjuster, examiner, investigator, administrative services manager, how does the strong math background figure into these?
I was denied unemployment and was a claims examiner for 15 yrs. Now is it easy to get a job at McDonalds? Full time? With my experience? Thx.
I was fired from my job for making a mistake and being a victim of western union fraud. I took a phone call from a man claiming to be an agent who would have to run tests...turns out these tests were actually transactions it was a lapse of judgment that caused me to lose my job. Unemployment sent me a letter stating I would have an appointment in 4 weeks because I may have been fired for misconduct this is not the case and my job told me they would not contest my claim and I could collect if i wanted to ...are my chances good if I explain to the claims examiner everything I explained here? Has anyone had this problem before? Please help i'd like to go to the classes the state offers through unemployment to find myself a more suitable job
I worked through a temp agency under a 3 month contract. It was renewned for an additional month. I then found a new job as a 1099 employee because I was told by my superviosr that he would not renew. After I accepted the new position the contract company offerred me a one month renewal. The claims examiner said I left work voluntarily to pursue other employment and was not eligible. any suggestions for appeal?
If you can not offer a positive answer..please dont waste my time
I have just received my bachelors degree and have so far only had small side jobs. When I'm looking online now, I don't even know where to start. I know that I would most likely be starting off low, but I am looking for an industry that would be cool to work in with increasing opportunities in the years to come. Does anyone have any advice for that?
Im almost finished with the first of two years in my automotive degree. Im working at a shop currently, but I dont know if I want to turn wrenches for a living. It seems like I always break stuff and mess up every time I work on a vehicle. What other jobs are available could I get in the automotive field?
I am seriously thinking about going back to school and was wondering if you all could help me think of jobs an anthropologist major might qualify for, outside of teaching?
My sister want to know 15 jobs that start with letter I. Because it is her homework.
It would be very helpful to me if you would be as specific as you can, including potential starting salaries.
Also, what kind of job options would be available with 4 more years of grad school that would NOT be available with only a Bachelor's?
I always select the best answer.
What is a typical salary? What are the responsibilities?
I tried a google search and came up empty along with other yahoo answers.
I can only stand up for about 2 hours after that my knees start to feel very "pressured" if that's the word to use, ...rather painful after 4 hours to make things easier. (past injury)
So does anyone know of any job fields that don't require a lot of walking or standing. Even if they require further studying, I would like to know my options.
I have a few questions for you.
And if i major in finance, and graduate with a finance degree, what are my options after i graduate? Like what sort of jobs could I be working?
I'd like to get some of your opinions. First, I like to state some facts. If anyone knows anything about history, it is common knowledge that America became the worlds most powerful country after we claimed independence and adopted the fundamentals of the Constitution. In under 200 years of civilization, America became the worlds number one super power. There are civilizations on this planet that are thousands of years old that haven't accomplished a fraction of what we have. We can all agree on this fact, right? Capitalism was at its strongest during this time; Low taxes, free markets and a very limited government. So why can't everybody agree that it was capitalism that made this the best and safest country on the planet to live? As government started getting more powerful throughout the more recent decades, the quality of living has decreased dramatically.
This being said, how can people vote for Obama when he wants to fundamentally change this country and expedite our transition in to socialism?
My husband is currently interviewing with Progressive. We are trying to figure out what training pay is for adjusters( since it lasts 12 weeks) and what starting pay is. Also wondering if any adjusters out there can tell us if they like their job there. He currently works at Enterprise with super high stress, making barely any money and working over 50 hours a week, no overtime. Any comments?
For example Big Pharmacy's sued Indian pharmacies because they supply better/cheaper HIV meds to Africa. One of many possible examples. What if eating with "tools" was intellectual property of some big company and you decide to copy/paste this useful skill and spread the enlightenment across friends so they too can copy/paste it. The big multinational would obviously lose a lot of money and jobs,
I am doing a report on government for my Poly Sci course and I need some directions. I understand that if you can quit your job for specific reasons and obtain unemployment coverage. What I want to ask is what are your specific reasons that you may have used to gain unemployment after quitting?
