Collection Manager Job Questions & Answers

I have been a mortgage broker for 8 years, a collections manager for 2 years and property manager for 2 years. I'm 32, white male, single, no kids, college graduate. I need to get in to something new and different as the mtg loan biz sucks. Does anyone have any ideas as to what field to go in to that is hot? Sucks meaning, I'm not making the money I used to. Last 7 years was $50k to $70k. This year is $20k.

I've worked in collections over 8 years and have managed a call center for over 9 years. The thing is I've worked in collections over 15 years ago. I still remember it all but how do I prepare myself. I am in school re-educating myself to get out of the sales field and this job is perfect for me but, I don't want to mess up the interview. Can some one tell me exactly what this job entails?

I have just received my bachelors degree and have so far only had small side jobs. When I'm looking online now, I don't even know where to start. I know that I would most likely be starting off low, but I am looking for an industry that would be cool to work in with increasing opportunities in the years to come. Does anyone have any advice for that?

I know that I want to major in psychology when I go to college, but I want to know what my job options are. I know that you can be a therapist, but is there anything other than that that you can get with a psychology degree? But it must still apply in the range of "Jobs in Psychology" (as in, please do not say 'Work at Wall Mart!' or 'With a psychology degree you can get a job in the business field as a _'). Understand? Thank you very much!
