I am 27 year old, all my life I waned to live and work in the USA.I don't qualify for a green card but i still like to live my dream to have a life and a job in the USA.
To apply for a job in the US online and to be taken seriously by an employer, must I be based in the US at that moment? Do I need a visa? I am a British citizen based in the UK but planning to move to the US. I can't really go to America and just look for work as I need to work to pay for my bills here. Although, I am ready to quit my job if I find a job in the US and can arrange to move everything there myself.
Indeed, I'm neither a US Citizen nor a Green Card holder. I would like to move out to the US and I know someone who's a hotel manager and he's ready to hire me. I know he's got to do the whole procedure to ask for my work visa but how much time does it take and am I sure to get it ?
This is my second week at a new job, and I'll be in training for the next month or so. I have 2 previous compromises that will require me to miss two fridays (international visitor in one week; GRE at end of July). I feel bad for having to request off work so soon, but I had no idea at the time of scheduling these things that I'd have a new full time job. Any suggestions as to how to go about informing them, are my reasons legitimate, etc? Thanks!
I live in Romania and I want to emigrate to the US. I work as a policeman in my country but the salary is dirt. I have a faculty license in Law and Administration, speak fluent english, and also worked as a network administrator and help-desk but don't have any IT certificates. Where could I get a job first, what salary? Thanks.
How does my friend in the Philippines get a job in the Texas, USA?
1) Does she have to apply online for jobs and let the employer process her paper or whatever? Or she applies for visa?
2) How long does it take for her to get everything done and come to the USA to start working?
3 She got 2 years college degree in computer and certificate in care giving.
4) Are there any easy or faster way or suggestions?
My boyfriend wants to get a job here after he is done with his course in college for IT. How would he go about getting a visa and/or a green card for permanent residency? We are both slightly confused about the process. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
He is going to school in Ireland and finishing there too.
Suppose English skills is good, but there is no job experience in any of the countries. It's pretty tough, isn't it? But what about studying for your masters and also working in a part-time job? Is it doable?
I have BS in both mathematics and philosophy of science. Also I have a teaching certificate (not sure it will be valid in any of the countries).
@ ? : Thanks for your valuable answer.

It is clear that we need VISA with work permit from a company if we want to move from our country to other country for job. If I am not getting a job offer from any company and it is getting too late or I really want to move. Is there any other method or way to move from my country to US state for 6-12 months and find job there ? Or Can US embassy give me work permit or temp VISA upon my request to go to US and then try finding an opportunity ?
Some immigrants have family already living here who can support them until they get on their feet.
Other people come over on student visas & end up getting a job and staying here full-time.
But what about the families that come over here with nothing?? How do they simply pack up their stuff & come to America?? What do they do until they find a job, home, car, etc.??
I don't understand how they just come over here.
My fiance and I are still in school so we can only work part time. We want to find jobs that offer paid health insurance benefits to part time workers since we will no longer be able to be on our parents' health insurance after the wedding.
I have applied for a position in an American company that I really would like to work for that is located in San Francisco. I currently live in Ontario, Canada.
If I get the job, what do I need to do/what is the procedure to receive a work visa to legally work for this company? I've tried researching the answer to this question but I am having a really hard time finding what I am looking for. Thank you in advance.
I must know in details, as it is very necessary coz I have an job offer for that, what are the duties and rights of a Project Manager ? Thanx in advance.
So I notice that loads of my friends on social media sites are going abroad (Australia, New Zealand, etc) but i've always wanted to go to America. My brother has been before, but the people who he went through have stopped the programme, so I cant go through them.
Do I need to have an actual job lined up before getting out there? I really don't mind the job, I just really want to live out there for a while, and experience it all before it's too late!
I was wondering if there was anybody else that may have been recently and could offer me some advice on how I can go about planning for this?

I love this girl who lives in Florida, and I really want to be with her. I want to go and settle in Florida but I don't know how? I'm an unqualified adult living in a South-Eastern Country of this World who had to drop out of School (in class 9) cause of financial reasons.
I can't go back to School as it's not possible in my Country, so I'm formally unqualified for any job. But honestly, I don't even want to any other job other than jobs related to animals. Now I really wish if I could get a job in any animal Shelther in Florida, so that I could go there and not only do the job but also be with her. :( I know I'm unqualified but I'm a hardworking person and ready to do any job possible as long as I can apply for it my mail. Please someone guide me?
Also, is there any formal education required for an animal related job in the US? If so, guide me
@Frank: All the options seems unfavourable at the moment/or ever, if I be honest, so does that mean chances of my being with her are zero? is there no other way for me to settle in the states for my hardwork and wanting to do any job possible?
I am from Asia and my field is on film and advertising. I browse to some American production houses and there are international jobs that are available for application.
I want to know how will my visa application process will be? If ever the company will hire me, do I apply for working visa independently or will the company support me wit the process and documents?
