 | I came to know that SAP is a company which gives ERP implementation. I want to know what exactly is SAP and why is the world slowly moving towards SAP implementation for all companies? What is buggy with the current setup of companies without SAP intervention? If SAP is computerizing/integrating the whole company setup, then wouldnt it reduce the job opportunities?

 | I took over this company as an MD and have little exposure with regard to ERPs. However, there is an existing ERP in place and my internal survey reflects people find it useful. But, they are not using to the fullest...If they do, the company would really benefit. How can I get them interested in using it?

| I recently graduated from Penn State with BS in IE and couldn't find a job. Some companies want SAP and I was wondering whether it will be worth taking it online. It might cost me about $2500. I also wanted to know what type of SAP i need to take pls help.

 | Note, it is my intention to make myself marketable for an interview at least. I have a BS in the field and am currently in graduate school; I've also been in work with State Govt for 20 years. Encouragement is greatly appreciated.
I would eventually like to move in the direction of being a System Administrator.
I'm interested in what steps I could and should be taking to make myself more marketable for an IT entry level position. I'm particularly interested in work that will get me to a Systems Analyst position.

I and my wife are software engineers ( from India) and we have got job offers in Singapore. I would like to know about the quality of life in Singapore in terms of following:
1) Education standard in schools and colleges.
2) Medical facilities
3) Sports faclities ( easy accessibility of parks, swimming pools, other sports like tennis, badminton etc)
4) Entertainment options and Excursion options for example on weekends.
5) Traffic Congestion and general congestion in malls, roads etc.
6) General security against theft or otherwise.

| I am a Pakistani qualified Chartered Accountant (with post quaification experience of 8 years, all in oil industry). I also have implementation / hands on experience of ERP in the company. I was wondering whether there are attractive opportunities in UK or Ireland for me. I am looking at it from permanent relocation point of view. How can I explore those opportunities and any idea in what range I can expect salary. Any specific industry that I should target and how about oil industry.
