The marketing manager isn't doing the selling alone- with him is a sales rep and a sales manager and the 3 of us share of goal that this industrial machinery company (the people who would show include the buyer, jr engineer and production manager) will buy our software. So what does marketing manager do specifically in this kind of situation? Thanks a million!

There is so many opinions out there about what the difference is between these two and which one has more oppurtunities and so on. I would love to know what the most direct difference is between these two fields, they seem so similar. Obviously the name Operations Manager hints at managing, but to me it seems like it is a more business-like approach to industrial engineering.

It is a joint honours degree that I am studying, and I am very interested in working in a medical environment, however I would prefer to gain more qualifications whilst working instead of being in full time education. I would also be interested to know which types jobs I would be able to do without continuing any further education. I'm an Industrial Engineering Student, wishing to go for Master degree. My gf, is an accounting student. If I go to attain master degree overseas, she will follow. But, maybe we can go into the same university and the same department (or so I thought) I personally wished for Master of Science in Industrial engineering, but at the same point, it might be impossible for her to follow at that... (Most engineering masters requires engineering background) Any experts or anyone knows which department will fit us best if in the end we go to the same department?

I am a very recent MBA graduate who's been working in a corporate environment for over 10 years, but has never actually been in a leadership position. Will employers consider other elements into the hiring process? The concepts and theories are all very fresh in my mind. Wouldn't this be an opportunity for a company to mold me into the type of manager that they are looking for? I understand what you've said. Thank you for your brutal honesty. I hope I can somehow prove you wrong.

I made an interview with a production company for possible positions before it starts its production in the USA. After 7 months, before the company opens,I was called to discuss a position and later 2hear an offer which is related with my industrial engineering skills. I met with the department manager and we discussed the details of job like when I will start, what documents I have to read, when we will do our meeting etc...Later they told me that I will hear an offer soon and I was asked2wait.However 4 days later an offer came 2me which is not related with my field and which is not discussed although I was the most skilled candidate( MS and BS in Engineering, speaks 3 languages) So I declined the offer because of that reason.Later from my research,I learned that the plant manager decided 2bring the son of project manager, who constructed the plant, for the position where I was expecting an offer. Can I sue the company for not applying equal employment opportunity in selecting candidates?

Hi all I have been struggling to find a satisfactory answer for that question for quite a long time, but I'm still unsuccessful. When we google: "casting calls" we can find many websites full of information about castings for different small productions. Apart from them, we have many great and popular shows, for instance the most concerned now, Game of Thrones and Homeland. How can I know that HBO or Showtime plans to make a bigger production? Where can I find information that they are going to make a casting for main roles? I am not a skilled actor. Unbelievable, isn't it? I know that professionals are informed about this kind of stuff by their agents and agencies. Yet, I'm curious about finding such information by myself, whether it is a website or theater's wall. What I try to emphasize is that I am not looking for pages with castings for extras. It intrigues me whether casting calls for main roles are carefully hidden from amateurs? I realize that it is possible. Yet, I skimmed through the credits, checked who is who and it appears that for some people show like Game of Thrones is their first time in front of a camera. Basically. Let's assume that a major television network “A” wants to make a show “X” in 2014 and announces casting call for main roles. How can I know it? If you were to search for it, where would you do that? Is there one site that I can be sure of that will post all known bigger and smaller casting or I have to go through many different pages? Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm planning on studying aviation in college, and I am interested in working at the airport as part of the ground crew operations. (Luggage, marshaling, fueling, etc..) The airlines do the hiring for the individual gates, and they told me I need a resume. I just turned 19 last month and I currently serve at a restaurant. I have no prior resume experience nor any aviation experience. How would I go about building this resume since I don't have any real experience in the field?
