I am applying for production manager jobs (what my experience is in) but my degree BS major was in electronic media. Usually these positions want a degree in Engineering or Business Management. If they don't specify should I leave what my major was in out of my resume so they don't disregard my resume before they talk to me?

A very strong applicant came into the office for an interview yesterday. She is applying for an Office Manager job. It is a highly visible position that will be interacting with a wide variety of employees, managers, vendors, clients and consultants. It is a large medical consulting company with hundreds of employees, this is the corporate office. Anyway, her resume was quite impressive and she spoke quite well and had the background we were looking for. My only concern was all her very visible tattoos on her arms and neck. Should that be an issue?

I'm currently looking for a new job and I've had a few interviews which I think have gone really well. However I have yet to have a job offer. I have bright red dyed hair and I was wondering if this will have affected my chances of getting a job. I've mostly applied for assistant manager jobs in retail fashion along with a few in general retail. I am qualified for these positions.

Hi - I am really interested in this case manager job. I went for an interview on Wendsday and they told me they would get back at me in a week or two. Anyways I think the interview went real well just because I have some experience working as a residential counselor in a group home. When they asked questions I felt confident in knowing how to answer it and I really showed my enthusiasm for the work. There are a couple of full time positions and part time they are seeking to fill. They said I was the third person they had interviewed and they had some more people to still interview. They gave me a tour and introduced me to the people who work there by my name and all. Do you always introduce the person who is being interviewed to everyone or should I take it as a good sign?

I am currently working as a retail sales assistant but I have an interview for a retail assistant managers job with a different company. I just need to know how to approach the question of salary in the interview and an idea of how much I should be aiming for. As I haven't previously worked in a managerial role I'm unsure of how much they get paid. I live in the North West of England and the pay seems to vary for the same role. Can anyone help?
