I've had my own business for quite a while now, and I am really interested in turning this into something bigger. I feel an MBA course would benefit me a great deal. I know some people who have done their Masters degree solely with work experience and no Bachelor's degree. Can I do the same if I want an MBA?

You are Dave Jones, a claims adjuster for Statewide Insurance. Your job requires you to investigate automobile accident claims, negotiate settlements, and authorize payments. Customers are already distressed, of course, over their accidents. The last thing they need is a delay in settling their insurance claims and getting their vehicles repaired. Because you travel the entire eastern half of your state to physically examine the damaged vehicles and talk with those involved, you constantly have to search maps and the Internet for directions to many out-of-the-way places. It occurs to you that you could be more productive and provide better customer service if you had an onboard automotive navigation system that relies on the federally operated Global Positioning System (GPS). The device in which you are interested is the “Street Pilot,” which boasts a large color display as well as voice prompts (such as “turn right at next intersection”) and automatic routing capability. It is portable, so you can use it on any vehicle – which is particularly useful given that you sometimes have to fly to your destination and then rent an automobile. The cost is a one-time fee of $699, but there is no monthly access charge. Send a memo to your boss, Lisette Washington, Vice President of Operations, trying to sell her on the idea. * Don't write it for me just help me get started. give me some ideas on how dave jones shold convince his boss etc.*

Hey guys! I was wondering what else I could do to boost my chances of making it into the Air Force Academy. In 8th grade: I was President of my Student Government Association, National Junior Honor Society, and Vice President of the Key Club. I was also running track, in Relay for Life (A Cancer thing,) I tutored Math, Morning Announcer, Yearbook Club, In orchestra (since 5th grade,) student ambassador lego robotics, and a lot more. My cumulative GPA for middle school (since 6th grade,) is a 3.9 (I got one B in middle school). Now I'm in 9th Grade, and I'm in my school's SGA, I'm a student ambassador, I have pretty much all Honors Classes. I'm Class President, and I'm in my school's AFJROTC Program. In the program, I'm only an Airman Basic, but I will soon be promoted, I am also on my school's Drill Team. In the spring, I plan on playing softball. Idk if this will hinder my chances of making it in, but at my school we have these college-level classes called STIs. and In middle school, we apply for it, and I made it in, that's why I go to this school. It counts as college credit and everything. I made it into the Criminal Justice Program. There are many things to choose from like Engineering, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Health Occu., Biotech, Cosmo, Electronical Constructions, Automotive Tech, and a bunch of other ones. I was one of the 20 people selected, (Anyone in the whole County can apply) and I have a fountain of community service hours. I've been dreaming about becoming an Law Enforcement Safety Officer ever since I was little, and I can't wait to apply! It's my dream job. Is this good enough?

Jobs as the outcome. But subsequent analysis suggests that Keystone's job-creating potential is more modest. The U.S. State Department calculated last year that the underground pipeline would add 5,000 to 6,000 U.S. jobs. One independent review of Keystone puts that number even lower, with the Cornell University Global Labor Institute finding that the pipeline would add only 500 to 1,400 temporary construction jobs. The authors of the September report also said that much of the new employment stemming from Keystone would be outside the U.S. Transcanada itself cast doubt on its employment forecast when a vice president for the company told CNN last fall that the 20,000 jobs Keystone would create were temporary and that the project would likely yield only "hundreds" of permanent positions. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505123_162-57361212/keystone-pipeline-how-many-jobs-really-at-stake/

Before the indirect peace talks have even begun the Israeli government has brought them to an end by breaking their won moratorium on new construction in occupied lands that are in dispute. They were blasted by Vice President Joe Biden and other leaders from Europe and South America (as was and has been reported in Yahoo News, etc.) Can the USA continue to support Israel after this and Israel's long history of human rights violations against the Palestinain Jews, Christians and Muslims? How do you think this will be resolved? My previous post that addressed this same issue was swamped by pro Israeli supporters who happily distorted historical facts with out right lies to justify Israel's past actions and condemn my post. It was also reported and deleted after it had been answered and a BA had been awarded. They will probably do the same to this one as the truth seems to be a bit uncomfortable for them. namaste

Why do people never seem to get angry at how much waste of tax dollars is done by Amtrak? Is it our nostalgia of trains or government official and wealthy who squash the stories? Our Train station has been under construction - well the parking lot anyway! LOL! Apparently the worked to slow ( Amtrak Employees and Contractors ) so now they need more money! They also want 75K to do a study about the needs for parking ( after) they did the parking ?? HUH? PLease explain this? The worst part has ALWAYS BEEN conditions inside the station( very old station)- the stairs to the platforms are so rusty and bad they have weak spots, the roof has had leaks for years and it needs painting a major wall repairs/electric etc....... Guess what - they ran out of money before touching ANY of that? Now employees for AMTRAK have better retirement that any company I know of and they have a great benefits package- yet they work slower than molasses in January. They all milk the job because they know they can! Yet people go after TEACHERS and Unions??????? Why aren't they OUTRAGED at paying TAXE$ - BIG dollar$ for AMTRAK??????????????????????????????????????????????? I think we should sell the trains to private companies that could turn it around and MAKE a profit! Stop the waste!
