I am creating our elementary yearbook around the theme "Academic Success Under Construction." I would like to rename our Administration, Office Staff, Teachers, etc with related construction worker job titles. For example, our SPED teachers will be our "Instruction Crew." Counselors will be our Safety Directors. Can you help me creatively rename our divisions for our K-5 yearbook?

I'm serious about this. I just don't see how better roads will help. It's not as is if they were a notable cause for the recession in the first place. And even if there are lots of construction worker type jobs created what are the incentives to get a college degree and what happens to those jobs when all the infrastructure is repaired?

Our house is really old and we want to fix it up to make it look nice. The problem areas are the roofing and ceiling. My mom is the only one who works and my Dad has a job here and there (He is a construction worker, and the jobs get done pretty fast) We really need to find ways to get money for the roof, ceiling, we also need paint (interior and exterior), new flooring and new furnishings for rooms. Also our house is quite small, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. A downside to our house is that it was built with asbestos.

They brought in illegal Mexican workers for the cheap labor and now we are stuck with them and the large families they brought. They also overbuilt because they were so greedy. They drove a lot of small builders out of business and the mexicans have taken a lot of American construction workers jobs. Now we are paying for it.I hope the big builders all go bankrupt, then the small builders can make a comeback.

Sorry Joe the construction worker you are not a plumber. Republicans blocked the FFA deal until Sept.. I am to seriously starting to think Republicans are attacking Americans just for being Americans. Did not keep us safe on 911, took a Obama to catch their Bin Laden, want us talking spending not jobs, what is next hold up the unemployment extension when Capitalism is not providing enough jobs for people that want to work.

Temporary jobs for construction/infrastructure workers, temporary jobs for the 25 policeman for a month, etc. So what happens when the money is spent and jobs are done? Unemployment will drastically rise again. How do we create PERMANENT jobs? Not to mention that when you put about 3 trillion dollars worth of cash flow in the economy you will of course get TEMPORARY positive results.

I often state I only see women holding signs. Well, last week along my travels, I saw a woman sitting on a sheep's foot roller. So, my count for the season is 1 non-sign holding female construction worker. Why aren't there more of them working the equipment? Running the hydraulic levers can't be overly physically demanding, can it? I would think those equipment makers want to ensure the equipment is easy to use for long durations.

Are they the construction workers, longshoremen, trucking, or nursing jobs? These are ALL being either confiscated via illegal aliens, or being moved to Mexico all together! And as far as it goes the paying $20 for a head of lettuce is BS because Canada doesn't have this problem and they pay the same price as we do. Explain what the jobs are please? What will be left for Americans to do? Terp, I DO blame the corp. and OUR Government for not enforcing immigration laws. Corp. have more rights than citizens and it makes me sick that they have done this to the USA. But it still stands that the illegal aliens STILL cross the border illegally and want to have everyone cater to them while they continue with ID theft and Gangs and drugs.

A company is building a church not to far from my house, and 95?f the workers are hispanics. I know many come to Michigan, congregate in rented homes, some return home while others remain here illegally. However what happened to american construction workers? Are they losing their jobs to illegals who are willing to work for much less? How come every nut thinks if you are against illegal immigration you are a racist? De La Mare: You like a lot of people are missing the major issue when it comes to illegal immigration. It is illegal. These people are committing a crime by being here. It's nice and dandy to spin the "We want a better life too" I want more more money in my bank account. So it is acceptable to obtain the funds illegal just because I want a better life? I think not.... some body #549906585: I care Wonderwoman: Please go find a wonder brain...
