Hi, I am really interested in animation, and I was doing my bit of research and I wanted to clear up some things, like this little question over here, does a 3D modeller do the animation of the model or is there a different 3D Animator to do the work, just wanted to clear that out, thank you.
There always seems to be a long list, when viewing the credits displayed for a video game. What would be the minimum number of people, having an individual job title and skill, needed to create a video game . I am wondering what a team would have to consist of in completing such a project.
For a class assignment, i am looking in to careers I am interested in, and i always liked the scenery in games such as guildwars. I would like to design it on a computer, rather then on paper. What is this job named? would itbe a graphic animator or something else? please answer. Thanks!
I am about to graduate with a BA in Game Art & Design, but don't know what types of jobs I can apply for. I am not only focused on jobs that require this degree, but I am opened to anything else that I can do entry level. What types of companies would hire people with my degree? Thank you all!
So, is knowing how to draw required to be a good 3D modeler? Mainly, but not limited to, modeling people/creatures on ZBrush. Also, I'd very much appreciate it if you could provide me with some links to artists who can't draw on paper but are good 3D artists.
What is the job/career called for 3d animation, like the people that work on computers and create the 3d charaters like in Pixar movies or the robots from Transformers, and animate them?
SAME GOES FOR GAMES.
It is common knowledge that household chores, handling small children, routine clerical work, nursing, telephone operator duty are some of the jobs where only thing certain is repetition.
Generally men find it frustrating and get easily bored but somehow women not only tolerate but seem to enjoy it as well. HOW?
I know some people who make Models and Diorama as a living. I mean do you get any money from doing this? Who buys those good looking models and diorama?? I build models just for relaxing, it really makes me empty my mind for an hour. I don't think working on models every day is a fun job.
Hi , i was just wondering the job title of people who create the graphics / effects for films such as spider man , or the hulk ? I mean in the hulk for example who creates the hulk on computers ?
I was thinking about a job in Game animation but I'm not a super good artist when it comes to drawing with pencil. Do I need to know how to draw if I get a career in animation. If so does drawing with CAD/Inventor and other computer aided programs count. I am pretty good at making things on them.
I'm planning to take that up in college, but I'm afraid I might not get a job after I graduate. I just wanna calm my nerves by asking if there is a market for my specific course or not.
What is the job called that you design characters and weapons in a 3d promgram for video games and how much do they get paid and how much do video game coders get paid
Before I begin looking for colleges to attend for this type of thing, I was hoping I could find a class at my community college that would really help me out for when I do decide to find a more fitting college. My problem? I want to be a 3d modeler or animator. My community college doesn't offer anything like that. It doesn't even have any sort of art class. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

I was thinking of getting into computer science in college so I can get a job in game design. Problem is I'm not sure it's something I wanna do. Is there I cheap (or free) way to dip my toes in the process? Something simple, like with internet games, but something that will be similar to an experience in game design. At least to an extent.
What programs do they have to be familiar with? Do they have to be equally skilled in 3d modelling as they are in digital artwork? Also how competitive is the job market? Should I start honing my art skills now if I want a head start when I finish school? Is it a very rewarding career?
So i love editing things, and creating 3D animations i am going to media design school next year to do visual effects and i was just wondering what the different roles are in making a movie e.g. director of special effects/visual effects supervisor... (hmm yea that's about all i know lol) so apart from the VES what are the other roles from pre-production to post production? and also how hard is it to get into this industry? i know you have to work your way up from the bottom but what are the jobs at the bottom?
What qualifications would i really need for video game design and what is mostly included in this job. What is the pay like ? is it good . Good enough to be able to buy good cars. Would it make me happy - I mean the money.
Hey, I need help. I'm not sure what job role this is in creating games but I'm struggling to know which one it is as I would like to do it once I finish my degree. The person that sculpts the characters, cars, weapons ect, I've been using a software called Sculptris the same people that make Zbrush.
I want to be in that job role, but unsure what it is?
I know there animators but aren't they the people that make stuff move ect and also the artist which makes the stuff on paper?
