	What schooling do you need to be a solar installer? What are the schooling requirements to become a solar installer? What field of job is it in and what certificates are necessary? thanks! 2 answers - Asked By: - 4/10/2012

	Is it safe to install rooftop solar panels on an existing house that was not designed and built to have solar? Panels? Can the structure support the extra weight and windload of the solar panels? When solar panels installers install solar panels on the roof, do they have to drill holes on the roof? If they don't do a good job sealing the holes, won't rainwater and melted snow leak through those holes? A roof will only last so many years. 	Is it possible to use solar and electricity at the same time seamlessly? I'm just starting to learn about solar panels and solar energy. I'm curious if it is possible to rig your house up to a few batteries charged by a few solar panel, and when the batteries are empty, it will switch to electricty.
