I have been working in the semiconductor industry as a CAD engineer for quite some years. How hard is it to switch from a CAD engineer to an analog design engineer? I have a BSEE. Can the managers and directors give me advice on whether the design group would want someone like me with the CAD talent? What does it take to switch over? Thanks!

I was looking into different types of engineering degrees and I am not sure which one would be right for me. I really want to design things like robots or uavs for the army. I would also be interested in a more design aspect than the building. I really love google sketch and other graphical programs. I also noticed that almost most mechanical engineering jobs seem to be about manufacturing screws or ball bearing which doesn't look like fun at all to me. Would electrical engineering be better for this?

Mechanical engineers are known as being the "master engineer." So how broad is their spectrum for work? It's obvious a mechanical engineer cannot do an electrical/computer engineer's job. But what about a mechanical engineer doing a petroleum engineer's job? If you could give me some examples of jobs a mechanical engineer CAN do and cannot do.
