Curator Job Questions & Answers

Just finished my bachelors in History. I want to pursue a museum curator job, but most job listings descriptions say 4 year degree with experience ( which I don't have) or Masters/PhD will train. Well now thats confusing? Which do I pursue first...the experience or more education? Am I looking at the wrong website listings? Anyone have any other job listings I should start looking at like any lower level jobs and work my way up. confused and need to know what my next step should be.

My wife is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, Mi with a degree in Anthropology. We are currently looking for jobs that are in her field but we don't know where to start. A job in Michigan would be nice, maybe in a museum, but if not than any and all options are welcome for us to look through. Thanks.

What types of jobs can I get with a major in Religions and a minor in Business. I really enjoy learning about religions, and I'm not crazy about business but I think it will open new doors. I'm open to recommendations for alternative minors, but I'm pretty sure about the major. I do not want to teach (at least not traditionally). Any ideas or examples of what people have done are appreciated, thank you!
