	How to begin a career as a fashion designer? I am a self-proclaimed "fashion designer" with his own line of clothes to sell. My plan is to show the clothes at the local college, using their students who are studying modelling (gets them job experience and me advertisement). Then selling the clothes at local swap meets and mall events. Does anyone have any experience on this who could give me a little advice? 	How can I convince my parents that I want to be a fashion designer? They only worry since they don't think that its a very good job and want me to become a lawyer or doctor instead. I know that many designers don't get paid that much and go through a lot but I really love designing.I really want to be a designer since I've been sewing since a young age and its been a big dream of mine.
