 | I'm going to apply to USC, NYU, Emerson College, Syracuse, Ithaca, Loyola Marymount, Chapman, and CSUN. I want to major in TV production, and ultimately become a television director. Which school has the best program for that, has the best teachers, best facilities and equipment, and the best reputation. Which one will ultimately get me a job. Could you rate them from 1 to 8 with 1 being the best? Thanks so much!

 | I'm mainly talking about a director for ANIMATED TV shows, that don't have live acting and real camera use. How can you get experience for something like that as a student who has yet to start university, and has a busy lifestyle? Please ONLY answer if you are very certain, especially with career requirements like this, or (if possible) an actual director or director to be.

 | Hello, I’m thinking of going to school for film production and as I was doing some research, a question popped up that I couldn’t find an answer to: how do movie directors and producers get jobs?
And also, I’m starting to wonder the same thing about screenwriters and editors.
Thank you in advance.

 | I know that theatre is probably harder to do as you have to get it right first time, but are there any other differences? Why do so many television actors say they prefer theatre? I would have thought television is more relaxed as you can film it again if it is wrong.

 | I know this might sound like a stupid question, but how do people become directors of major films? I dream of becoming a director/writer. I love (attempting) to write scripts and watching movies with the sound off to focus on the camera movements, but my question is how do the
big Hollywood directors get funding from major film companies if they are a first time director. I'm guessing they go to film school or they make short films/commercials and if the companies like they're previous work the company will give them money to make the movie. How does the whole process work if you know. Thanks
