Hi. I have a job interview for a customer service role tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of things they would be looking for in someone and what questions are likely to come up in the interview. i've never worked in this kind of role before, my previous experience is completely different in the fact that i was a production coordinator in a factory type of environment. I live in canada and am a customer service agent. One of the coordinators always talked down to me, discriminated me and did not threat me with respect in front of others, making my job really hard. After complaining to higher management, all the lower managers are nowt treating me very badly, what can I do? I think they want to make life misrable for me, so i quick or get fired somehow, what are my options?

My Self Sanjeev Narang. I am 29 Years old. I am Married and have one kid. I have bachelor degree in Arts on April 2004. I have several years of work experience which includes working with the military and providing quality customer service. Throughout my years in providing customer service, I have proven my ability to work with an interdisciplinary team, and also developed interpersonal skills and strong professional relationships with customers. I have 7 Years experience in Iraq working in Kulak Construction Company which support to KBR and US Military for Operation Iraqi Freedom. 6 Month I have experience to work in Afghanistan with Awrish Builders (Local National (Afghani) Company) in Construction Project. Presently I am working in Afghanistan working with Ecolog International which support to Fluor Group and support military to complete their mission. My professional experience in Health, Safety and Environmental area. I am certified by OSHA 30 Hours General and Construction Industry and job related certificate as well. I started my career with HSE Coordinator and promoted to as HSE Manager. I am holding now HSE supervisor position in Ecolog International in Afghanistan. I am looking for job how to get in Australia and what should I have to done. I can speak, write and understand 3 language. English, Hindi and Punjabi. She has 3 years experience in customer service(reception), 2 years experience as a secretary/ coordinator in a Business Centre. She has High School Diploma but currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Business via home study program. She has Supervisory Certificate from a reputed training centre. She plans to work as a "Junior Manager". Do you think she is qualified for manegerial post? She is 26 years old. She has good experience and she is smart but she is losing confidence when she'll remeber that she's just a HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE..How can I motivate her to pursue her dream?

Obviously, there are "traditional" jobs for people graduating with a BA in Computer Science, such as jobs as a software engineer. I'm wondering - what types of "non-traditional" jobs are there for Computer Science BAs willing to get a graduate degree, either in computer science or another field?

I really like computers so I was thinking what kinda jobs are there were you have to work on a computer? And not like stay at home work, but like buisiness stuff I suppose? I would say something like being in a cubicle but Im not really sure what I would be working on then? Anyway any job ( thats not at home) that I can work on computer would be cool, and please explain what I would be doing. Thanks!

Yes, I understand college degree's do not guarantee any job in any field. I am just looking for general idea of what specific jobs are likely to be hired into.

I am thinking of becoming a social worker but i'm unsure what job opportunities there will be once I finish the degree. Can anyone give me examples (as many as possible) where a social worker may work? Also do you have to specialise in one area? Are there similar jobs available where I would be helping people, but the degree isn't necessary?

I only have a high school diploma. Working right now on my degree in Computer Science. I really want a desk job of some kind but not doing phones all day. I can take phone calls but not all day. I'm just so ready to be done with warehouse jobs and into something that has more growth potential. What do I need to do in order to get out from doing warehouse jobs and into getting a white collar job? I wouldn't mind working for a law firm doing entry level work for example.

Hello, i'm a junior in high school , my gpa is somewhere between an 83 and an 86 (im not sure at the moment =p) and am interested in two fields of jobs. One being computers/technology, one being pharmacy. But if possible i would more enjoy a job in computers and technology seeing pharmacy requires a lot of school. What are some jobs that pay decent that have to do with building computers, or possibly overseeing a system of computers or anything of the sort?
