 | I will be helping out this summer at a seasonal resort, one of the responsibility's I will have is recruiting PT employees, with a very low budget. What are some hiring practices used?
Positions would be for wait staff, security, housekeeping. Mostly just seasonal but can result in permanent.

 | It is equal to Director of Housekeeping but not the same as Housekeeping manager.
It has 1616 apartments, not hotel rooms.

 | I have heard both pros and cons of both majors. now im having a real hard time to deside which one i i should take.
my opinion is : Human Resource Management would get better salaries, but would it be required to get higher degree (MBA??) in order to get a good position in HRM and as well as a good salary?? also i've heard that you dont even need a degree to get a job in HRM? is that true?
as for Hotel Management, i am not sure i'd like to deal with all kinds of custumers, i am not very good at being patient. but would there be more job opportunities than HRM?
also i'd like to know if its possible/easy for a graduate who has no experience in HRM to start his/her career in HRM?
anyways, i would go for the one with good salary and good job opportunties regardless of anything.
any suggestions would be a great help to me now. thanks!

Housekeeping
Harvesting
Manufacturing
What people are really ignoring is the fact that these people do a lot of jobs we "real" Americans just won't do. All over the news today were employers saying that without these workers they wouldn't have a business. Even major companies like Tyson were closed to some extent. It's a fine thing to say they're using resources, but they're also working and if they work for a company they have to pay taxes to some extent.
So the question I pose is this one. Who's going to do the work? We'd have more jobs than people willing to do them and you can't FORCE someone to take a job just because they're unemployed.

 | Nearly 2 years ago my husband and I made the mistake of putting a stop payment on check for a used car that was a lemon. The dealer pressed charges and while we paid in full, as you can imagine words had been exchanged and they refused to drop the charges. Leaving him with a felony conviction. He has never been in trouble with the law prior to this his record was impeccable. Since, this occurance, he has not had any trouble. My husband is 41 years old and has a bachelor degree in business management and over 15 years of resteraunt management experience. We live in Ohio and and have two teenage daughters. I work from home and my job is it easy for me to move. We are willing to relocate if it means we can better our circumstance. He has been working as a hotel auditor for nearly two years and we just are not making it on $10/hr. He is very experience and everyplace that he has worked the employees really like his management style. Thank you!
