Kindergarten Teacher Job Questions & Answers

I have an interview for a Kindergarten teacher job tomorrow in a public school district. I would be starting mid-year. I have a feeling that I might be asked how I would help the students transition to having a new teacher. Any suggestions of how to answer this? What other questions might be asked? Do you have any other tips for me? Thanks!

Do you think a Kindergarten teacher is a good job? And what subjects do I have to take in high school to become a kindergarten teacher? And how many years do I have to stay in university/colledge to become one? What job do you think is better, a nurse or kindergarten teacher?

I know that you can teach preschool with a degree in early childhood education from a community college but can you teach kindergarten with the same degree? Would my job prospects be worse since I got my degree from a community college as opposed to a traditional four year university? I have my own kids and I was interested in becoming a kindergarten teacher because it would allow me to be home with them in the summer. Thanks! Also, how long does it take to become a kindergarten teacher?

I have always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. However my family is not supportive they don't want me to be "poor" . Also I have been told by many people that there will be no jobs for me when I graduate.(I'm a junior in high school now). All this negativity is really making me doubt my career choice. Will I be poor as a teacher and should I give up the dream?

If I wanted to report a Greek kindergarten teacher in Greece how do I do it? Does anyone know where I contact and what's the best way to go about it? Thanks She stepped out of line by telling the children something she shouldn't have. Not serious but I know nothing will be done by the head - I will go tomorrow to see them.

I am thinking about doing this as a career, but I would like to know the pros and cons of it. It would be really helpful if anyone with experience would tell me what their life is like, because I know how much kindergarten teachers make on average, but can you afford a house, car, etc. if you are single? Any info. would be nice. I am planning on getting a BS degree for it. Is this a good idea? I'm in Missouri, if this makes a difference.
