 | I want to be a primary teacher, and was wondering how easily you can get a job after your degree (primary education hons degree). So many people want to become teachers these days, and I was wondering how easily you can get a job after you have graduated at university, because of the high competition.

Can primary school teacher get a full time job offer at a kindergarten? It will be the Heretaunga area.

 | I need to pick my A-Levels soon and would like some advice on what to take, I am considering primary school teaching as a job. I already know that i want to take Music, Design and Technology and Religious Studies, but i cannot decide whether to take History or English Literature for my fourth option. I spoke to one of my old primary teachers and he said that they are good options, and i asked him whether i should take English or not and he said it would look good but its not essential. Is it actually essential to take English or does it not really matter? If not then i would really like to take History.

 | I have been a primary school teacher for ten years. I love working with children, controlling my own hours etc but am finding the red tape and democracy just too much now.
What other jobs can I do with a BA Hons QTS????
I need to earn £35k to match my current salary, but something a little different would be good.
Any friendly suggestions to help me see things from a different perspective would be great.
Thanks

 | I'm going to attend UT-Austin this coming fall for an education major. Of course I know teaching is not exactly a high-paying job but I'm interested in working at higher-class schools (aka richer districts). My question is should I attempt to go for a Masters or minor in child psychology or both? Basically, what should I do that will make me an acceptable candidate for such district. I'm thinking of becoming a primary teacher but I might change my mind to get an all-grades certification. Thanks in advance

 | So I know I have to do English, maths, science and a language for the law but which language as I'm best at German, but apparently primary schools only do French? Also what level do I need to pass?
Also what other options do I need, what's most important, I have to history or geography.
I hate drama and art but I have done some research and it said drama and art are very useful things to have for being a primary teacher, but can I not do them and do ICT and music instead?
And is it useful to do sport too
Overall what lessons shall I choose for being a teacher and what levels do I need to pass also if you can how long will this take me after secondary school? Thanks in advanced xxxxx
