I'm entering university next September to study Child and Youth Worker, it's been my dream job all throughout high school. I've looked everywhere and I cannot find any information on how much a Youth Worker, on average, makes per year.

A woman at 30 odds is dating a boy whom I know, she is a youth worker, and works with kids frequent, yet is dating one, is this illegal?
I like in the UK
And what I mean is, I know its legal for a 30 yr old to date a 16, but I heard somewhere before that 'youth' workers cannot, and this is against the job and the contract, like teachers for example. Is this true?
I went to college for Child and Youth worker. There are a lot of jobs that I've got the education for, but everywhere requires a few years experience. I've got no experience, because volunteering doesn't give me the experience they are looking for. They ask for paid experience. How do I get paid experience if nowhere is hiring a fresh new graduate?
Hi, I'm in high school, and i was thinking about studying to becoming a child and youth worker. I wanted to know how much i would make, if i would like it, and all the other details about it. If you are a child and youth worker, please help me out.
A church is employing a full time youth worker but says the role is voluntary and they pay an honorarium of about half the minimum wage. The worker has no other source of income.
I am interested in becoming a youth support worker. I would like to work with teenagers in residential/ their homes. Unfortunately, I do not have any qualifications in this field. Do you know of any company that would take me on and train me as I work? Or do you know of a relevant job that I should be looking into.
So I just started Grade 11 and i am sort of having a rough time figuring out what i should become.
I've wanted to be a Child & Youth Worker but honestly they don't make a lot in a year and i need something that will allow me to provide for a family.
I am not good in science at all and i find it sort of boring, i would like a somewhat high paying job not involving science at all.
thanks for the help !
I got convicted of a serious crime in 2010 and i went to prison for 4-5 months and i now have three awaiting cases to be dealt with. Will this allow me to become a youth worker or will i not be able to? Please help because i am on a course at the moment which is going to get me an apprenticeship in youth work.
I have been discriminated against and asked to leave my current placement - I am a student youth worker and very interested in working with young parents/parents to be or disabled young people. I need to find somewhere urgently. I am in Leeds in Yorkshire. Ideally school hours, not evenings as I have kids myself.
I was discriminated due to my own disability and the fact that I had a poorly kid!
I made a silly mistake a number of years ago i think about 8 years ago now and got a caution for drunk and disorderly, would i have a problem joining the police for or perhaps looking at working as a youth worker for example? It doesnt seem fair that one mistake should rule me out of som many jobs where they do police checks?
I have an interview for a post as a Youth Worker tomorrow. What questions could I ask at the end of my interview which would sound good and relate to the post?
My son has recieved theft and criminal damage convictions, when he was 16. Would he be allowed to be a youth offender worker like for the government? Plus what jobs would you reconmend he choose under these lines?
What are the different qualifiations, and what are the general differences between the two jobs. Also, does anyone know the average salary for these two jobs?
To become the following:

So for each of the jobs above, would you tell me what kinds of programs/courses I would have to take in high school?

Hi i have just arrived in london to start an MA in youth and community work. I'm looking for a part time job preferably in youth work but I obviously community would suit too. I have worked as a full time youth worker in Ireland for two years.
Does anyone know which are the best websites for looking for youth work jobs in London?
Are there any Agencies that are particularly relevant or helpful?
I am a CAD technician and have worked for my company for 3 years. I have decided to change careers as I have been doing this job for 20 odd years and have had enough. I have accepted a job as a senior Youth Worker (I have always dreamed of doing this), but as I am here on a work permit I haven't handed my notice in yet because I haven't got my new permit yet. I had my appraisal today and felt really bad as I got a raise and a bonus (which is paid out at the end of November), but I cannot say anything yet as I don't know if I will get a new permit. If the permit does come through then I will stay here until the end of november. I really need the bonus but am not sure if they have to give it to me after I have resigned. It is down in writing as we are given a report following out appraisals. So can they take the bonus back or do they have to give it to me?
