I'm getting very frustrated looking for an engineering job, so I'm trying to find other strategies to land my first engineering job. Human resources sucks, so I'm going ahead and sending my job applications to company employees. So my question is: is it appropriate to contact company employees on LinkedIn and send them my resume and cover letter?

The idea would create jobs in TV broadcasting and communications industries, new jobs to broadcast engineers to producers to writers and many more. Local Cable TV stations can produce local morning shows, local news, sit com, dramas, and game shows using local talent. It can be funded by wealthy local entrepreneurs or as cooperatives or affiliates of the giants in the Philippines broadcasting industry like ABS-CBN Corporation and GMA Network Inc. It would create jobs in the local communities and improve local businesses with a local media to provide advertising exposure for local products and services.

I'm going into Highschool this year, and a lot of stress is being put on planning for our futures. At the moment, I am planning on majoring in Psychology or something similar in college, and I was wondering what sort of jobs would be available for someone with a degree in that field. Obviously, a psychologist is an option. But what about things that aren't normally associated with Psychology? For instance, could one become a teacher with a Psy. Degree? If you don't mind, could people share with the the different fields one could enter with a decent (4-8 year) Psychology degree? Also, are there other majors similar to psychology? Please and thank you, much love, people!

I want to have the job of a radio personality/talk show person...I'm not sure what it's called, or even how to get the job. If you could tell me all about how much school you need to get this position, and anything else you know about the requirements, I would SO appreciate it! I know this is quite possibly the most horribly worded question ever. Basically what I want to know is how much school you need, and ANYTHING else that would be valuable to know.

Is it possible to completely cut the signal coming in and out of a compressor when another signal is (occasionally) sent through its sidechain insert jack? Security messages will soon use the same speakers as our college radio broadcast system and we need a hand-offs solution to cut the radio signal to let the security messages be heard.
