 | By the client? I'm doing some research and I was wondering, if a decorator works at a firm and that firm gets a job to decorate an entire office building with, let's say 25 floors, in Manhattan. How much would the client pay firm and how much would the decorator receive? And also, is that a reasonable job?

I want to stay in the agriculture field and still be able to work with animals but I don't know what other jobs are available. If anyone knows of other job options please let me know! thanks!

 | A 2007-06-27 job posting on NYASLA's web site suggests it's AutoCAD (see below), but previous Answers have suggested Maya. Have they changed recently? Are those the same package under two different names?
From the listing:
"HGTV’s Hidden Potential is looking for talented, motivated Jr. Architects and Designers AutoCAD operators to join our Design Team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our on camera architect and designer in helping them achieve their visions. We design a high volume of residences and at the end of the job, a Jr. Architect will walk away with amazing 3D animations and still renderings of their design work. It is a fun, fast-paced design environment."
"The ideal candidate has an eye for design – structural and interior – is proficient in AutoCAD, and is able to contribute to the creative design process on a daily basis. One must be computer savvy as our design team continually uses various software tools and FTP sites..."

 | I'm currently enrolled in Graphic/Commercial arts, yet my school has a "Graphic Design" major which is what I wanted in the first place. Is it really a big difference? Which gets paid more - and what types of jobs will I end up doing if I was a Graphic Designer as to a Graphic/Commercial artist?

One of my majors is architecture you know for that more guaranteed opportunity. However if you had to pick between the 2 which would have a better chance of getting a job or career theatre design or fashion design?

 | Well in the U.S. we have successfully dumbed down our education system and reduced our children into hopeless drones so why would the world want more American and British Engineers. You mean in societies where they have caste systems and in communists regions where free thinking is discouraged that they are incapable of thinking outside the box? But we have done a great job lowering our standards so no one would want to do this for a living. So why are they saying there is a lack of British and American Engineers when the ones we do have a are not apperciated?
