I know I have heard alot of speeches by people saying that illegals are taking the jobs that Americans do not want. Do these people think all Americans get CEO jobs and other high paying jobs. Some people might not have the oppertunities or ability to get a nice high paying job. So they have to get the bad jobs that a avalible like Wal-mart, landscaping, janitor, McDonalds, ect. This is not because they want these jobs but because they need these jobs because they can't get anything better. Yet, with the hundreds of thousands of i****************s coming to America the people that were BORN here are having to fight with people that jumped a fence and come here because their own country does not want to help them.

I think it is. There is very big difference between representing one's constituence and administrative CEO job. For example, the first task of the president would be to assemble the cabinet. In Senate you learn to trade favors with important people and thus to place influence and politcal connections of a person above his/her leadership and skills. In case a candidate already has such executive experience, at least his record could be examined.

I spent 29 years working as a Union Carpenter and made some serious cash in my life and retired early with a large retirement. If every one went to college got that big paying dream job it would be great but people with Masters are lucky to land any job in their field of study. Most end up in a go no where job with moderate to low pay. Who's going to build our homes, high rises and bridges if every one is looking for a CEO job?

I have just competed a third interview/meeting with staff for a Marketing & Development Coordinator position for a large non profit organization. As a graduate student, it is a big deal to have a job secured prior to graduation. I heard about the job from someone I know and they highly recommended me to the CEO. The job has not even been advertised yet. After today's meeting, I was told by the CEO that she's very impressed with me, that she believes that I would be an excellent fit with their team, and that she's really excited about my previous experience. She also that she assumed that I was applying to other positions and is concerned that I would choose another job before graduation. So she may interview other candidates I simply told her that if they offered me the position that I would conclude my job search and that what grad student wouldn't want to have a job secured before graduation. I also told her that this job was my first choice (and it really is). After our meeting, I met with other staff members to get a better feel for the organization. They all seemed impressed, super friendly, and stated that they would love to work with me. Should I just call the CEO and tell her that I've gotten a great feel for the organization and that I really envision myself there? Thank you for your advice!

Like i think current and past presidents have done bad jobs. Now they are talking about a Government shutdown due to money. Yet you have CEO Steve Jobs at Apple, a billion dollar company. CEOs like him and others, run a business and if they fail, they don't get to go to work or the company is gone. If the US was ran like a major corporation, and you have to run a successful private company before being allowed to run for any type of office. Would the US be in better shape then it is now?

If America is a business than our CEO (president) job to earn a profit and he should get bonuses when the country does well. That means that Americans are shareholders, that USA is a stock symbol, that other countries are our competitors that we need to either do things to make them weaker or buy the other country to increase market share or absorb their assets and resources. That the only job of our country just like a business is to e********y. Management (government) should receive bonuses for good performance, and that management staff should only care about making money.

Republicans say they HATE the concept of spreading the wealth. But what they mean is that they want to spread the wealth their way: by giving CEO’s a tax cut. So how are those Republican wealth spreaders doing? - Did a CEO spread some of his wealth back to you lately? - Did a CEO create a job for you recently? - Are there CEO's out there spreading something other than bonuses and layoff notices?

I'm having my living room floor retiled using nothing but fully functional iPads. Steve Jobs is coming to personally supervise the installation. I'm already planning on asking him why Apple is incapable of making white iPhones. Anything else I should ask or say?

They are saying they will cut out all purchasing from Forest Labs if he doesn't resign. Shouldn't picking a CEO be the job of the board of directors, and not the president?

The Democratic party is the party of the Corporations! Yes they are both in bed with the Corporations, but Repuckicons are screwing them. Any bill presented that would get this economy going has been fillibustered by "Republicons" Any bill that helps the Middle Class has been stopped by Republicons. Any bill that would increase the wages of people who work for a living, two jobs to make ends meet, by increasing the minimum wages is fillibustered by Republicons. Corporate CEO, Republicons, sent jobs of Americans to SLAVE LABOR, countries, most often COMMUNIST countries, and yet a poster actually posted Democrats are the party of the Corporations.
