I've always wanted to be a chief executive for a company. I'm wondering what the best pathway is to become one. I am currently in highschool with a 4.2 GPA so I don't believe that my grades are an issue. Any suggestions on the college I should go to, the starting job and any other facts would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!!!

Americans are voting with their feet to live in Republican-run states with low taxes, pro-business environments, and job-producing fossil-fuel production. This migration will produce a huge gain for the GOP in congressional seats and electoral college votes. The U.S. Census shows that from 2000 to 2010, Americans fled Democratic-controlled states on the East Coast, the West Coast, and the Great Lakes region to make their homes in Republican-controlled states with pro-growth policies. The population shift continues. Democratic states are shrinking , and Republican states are gaining population. The biggest population losers are New York, California, and Illinois. The eight states where the most Americans are choosing to relocate are Florida, Texas, Arizona, North Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, South Carolina, and Tennessee — all states with Republican governors. Chief Executive magazine gave every one of these rapidly growing states a high grade for business-friendly policies, and labeled Massachusetts, Illinois, New York, and California the states with the worst business policies. But it doesn’t take an economist to figure it where the opportunities are. Over the last decade, Americans figured it out for themselves, uprooted their families and moved to red states. http://spectator.org/archives/2013/03/27/blue-states-sinking

Besides MOST having GOP Govs. t********s to first correct! NOTE - there ARE several factors that could be "almost" correct, but also debatable. The ans I am looking for is NOT debatable! Texas, Florida, N Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Arizona, Virginia, S Carolina, Nevada and Georgia. Ohio, although it was "Best Improved" (2012) for business and jobs, was NOT among them, but "working on it!" Source; "Chief Executive Magazine" poll - conducted 2013 for 2012. HINT!!!!! It has to do with a particular state law passed by the state legislators and the voters in those ten states!

Http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/news/britain/nhs_fat_cat_salaries_up_9_5_per_cent There are cases where chief executives impose small pay rises on workers, and give themselves huge pay rises. Is this fair considering market forces and making sure that the right person does the job which are the arguments they use?

This is for my Civics and Economics class, and I need a bit of help. I need examples of how Obama shows examples of each of the presidential roles, which are: 1) Commander in Chief 2) Chief Diplomat 3) Head of State 4) Legislative Leader 5) Economic Leader 6) Chief Executive 7) Party Leader You don't have to provide an answer for every single role, but it would be nice. Thanks! I don't need a sarcastic answer. If he didn't exemplify any of the presidential roles, he wouldn't be a president in the first place.
