I am currently pursuing a bachelors in Healthcare Administration and was wondering if a CNA Certification would add value to the BHA degree since it seems that being some king of nurse either is almost a requirement to becoming a Healthcare Administrator. I am currently working as a CPhT ( A Certified Pharmacy Technician) but in a Pharmacy retail setting and not in a hospital. ANY thought or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Shouldn't someone who's worked in the healthcare industry lead the reform, like say, Senator Bill Frist: A cardiovascular/transplant surgeon who studied Public Healthcare Policy at Princeton and medicine at Harvard Medical School? Obama studied International relations at Occidental College and law and Harvard Law School, before working as a 'community organizer.' Where are his management or medical qualifications? He doesn't even have an MBA or economics degree!

Put a stop to the financial fuc***ing that have been giving to working class Americans? And would you like to be present when we rip the phone lines out of Blue Cross' offices, throw their computers into the street and make their executives get jobs that actually contribute to the welfare of our citizens rather than rob them?

I would like to start my own business, since Im tired of working for someone else. Im Canadian, & love visiting Miami. I am thinking of starting a business in the future, & I was thinking of including Miami into it somewhere, which would also give me a good reason to go there -not just for vacation. Iam in the process of brainstorming ideas for my business. I have a background in healthcare(nurse), I LOVE to travel, and another hobby includes salsa dancing. I also used to do some extra work for film, and television. I would like to know what the most successful business' are in Miami, and see if they relate to anything I have experience or interest in.

Hello, I am currently seeking other employment options. I was hired less than a year ago at a healthcare consulting company who recruited me from a hospital in the east coast (great references and experience). But the last 8 months have truly been a disaster. The executive I report to does not surprising provide me with any vision or guidance, and has “outsourced” her responsibilities to the former director, who frankly is unprofessional and extremely difficult to work with…and has a strong bond with my boss. The overall concern is that the company, in my opinion does not provide good resources to clients. My orientation has been filled with frustration. It seems to be a culture where I don't feel comfortable expressing my concerns as it will be aired. Now, I am looking for a new job. I don't plan on placing anyone at the company as my reference. But I anticipate my prospective employers will confirm my employment by calling my previous boss to directly to verify employment (I'm at mid-senior level management) I feel confident that my employer will mostly direct HR to the person who has been orienting me, who will say some negative things. I'm trying to figure out how to address my previous employer during the interview process without sounding like a resentful employee? Thanks

With Obama care, he will require ALL US citizens to be microchipped for healthcare purposes. Including babies being born after March 23rd of 2013 will be microchipped placed at their time of birth. Even if you aren't Christian, are you going to go through with it? I am not Christian, but this seriously terrifies me, since it does indeed sound like the mark of the beast. I'm not saying I actually believe this, just the idea of this occurring would be scary. And no I did not look this up on youtube, my US Government teacher told this to the class. I also have Christian friends who have told me this before. Just wanted opinions on the topic...
