I have 1 more year of undergrad with a 3.7 gpa and have been told that I have a good shot at an analyst job. I hear they start at $100K right after undergrad school (after bonus), but the life style is horrible. But i do like money, and want to be rich. They say that if you stick with it for 10 years you are easily a millionaire.

I have been working in Fund accounting in Ireland for a little over two years and desperately want to get out of it. I have a degree in Business Studies and a Masters in Economics. I find Fund Accounting boring and repititive and i really want a change. I'm not 100?ure what area in Finance i want to pursue - however i am sure that Fund Accounting is not for me and I have no desire to complete the ACCA exams either. The problem is when i apply for other jobs (such as Investment analyst, credit analyst, marketing research analyst etc ) I either get no response or get told that they want someone who already has experience in the area. I have looked a little into CFA exams and it seems like something i would like to do in the future. Some agencies have advised that i should start these exams myself and then i might have more chance of getting into these kind of roles - but i don't want to start these exams now as i would like to try out some of these roles first to help decide which one is for me ( i would hope to work for a company who would sponsor me instead) ! Any advice?

Note: Upper middle class usually implies people who hold a high level profession (eg. surgeon, Judge, university lecturer), or a job in upper management (company vice presidents, senior investment analysts, sales managers, etc.). They may also be the proprietor of a mid-range to large business.

I'm a recent college graduate with a solid professional/academic resume, but I am lacking in the relative work history department. I've been pursuing entry-level analyst jobs in corporate finance and financial services firms but haven't had any success landing one. Its now time to get job to fill in my resume/have income until I can secure a job in the investment industry. Any suggestions that would be a "plus" in the eyes of a recruiter? Thanks in advance! (My ideas so far... bank teller, internships, temp agency...)
