What are the pros and cons of being a cake decorator?

This is for people who are or were professional or grocery store cake decorators.

the pros are using your artistic talents and seeing an idea take shape and get compliments on the beauty, colors, cleverness, etc. The down side is decorating 300-400 (or more) exactly the same cakes during any holiday season.
