I just graduated from high school and I really need a job, preferably a good one. The current economy is making it rather difficult to find a good job, especially for someone with virtually no work experience such as myself. Any suggestions?

I'm 18 and never had a Job. I've volunteered at 2 different soup kitchens when I was 16, and I volunteered at regel reptilles (if that's how you spell it) when I was 15, but I was dumb and never got references. What is a place that would hire somebody like me, maybe family dollar? Please don't suggest a fast food joint, being around such a place makes me sick.

I'm writing a paper on welfare and social services. One section is on welfare abuse, and I have to make suggestions on what measures can be put in place to minimize welfare/social services abuse. I have some ideas but I'm looking for more that I may not have thought of. For the purpose of the paper, eliminating welfare completely is not an option. But the system can be changed, for example instead of issuing food stamps, expand the WIC program and soup kitchens. Or mandate showing proof of working to receive benefits. Or eliminate the per-child benefits. Etc... Thanks!

An overview Im doing a project on an young offenders Academy, which will offer young criminals and those at risk a chance to change their future in a safe and comfortable environment which will help them to get back into education and training, teaching them social and life skills, the aim is to prevent them from re offending by offering them a chance to really get involved with the community, the Academy will be linked to collaborative partnerships with organisations which will sponsor and act as a charity to wards funding the project. Design : (this is where i need your help!) The concept of the design s to create a space which will reflect social behaviours in a civilised manor, i want to create a space which will un consciously manipulate the behaviours of the users to improve their behaviours overall, for instance my question was... what are the factors or metaphorical measures which cause the postcode wars within London? How can i adopt these ideas into a physical space? How can we integrate a way of giving back something to community? for example a kitchen within the Academy which will server food in a Academy restaurant to the community which serves the comment, food being grown in the garden of the facility by the inmates, or maybe to serve food to the poor, Please comment, give your feed back, and opinions. ask me any questions.

Currently I'm attending college and trying do earn my AS in pilot training, but its rather expensive and I found out I'm a couple of classes away from being able to receive my airport management certification. So I guess my main question would be, will that aid me in finding a new job at an airport?

So every woman wants that tall, dream quality man who can provide them with a house and car and be able to fix things that break and build new things. That has been a manly trait from day 1. So what happens to those guys who fail miserably on household projects and don't know anything about auto mechanics?

I'm finding it impossible to find a job, I'm 21, male, i don't have any particular qualifications apart from good grades in GCSEs The only experience i have is as a kitchen cleaner in a hotel and working in a canteen. I'm starting to realize that there are too many people looking for unskilled jobs and i want to have a skill and move on with my life O know that i'm intelligent and could do any trade if i was taught it but i cant spend years training if i wont get paid. What sort of trade can you get in to easily in the uk? I'm pretty good with numbers and working with my hands so how do u become a joiner or a gardener or a roofer and a bricklayer or a mechanic or a plumber or a decorator or a fisherman or something!!! I'm getting desperate i want to be stable and settle down with my girlfriend, is there any government help for like training programs or anything ?? cheers for any advice

A small business to begin with of course... I find that one of the most challenging things to starting a business is coming up with an idea with the kind of business you want to have. This is not easy for me. What are some things/ideas/places you could recommend to me for starting a business? One of my friends tells me to identify a local need within your community and do some research on it and go from there? What are your thoughts about starting an online business? Can I have a business that has 0?nvestment or do I have to initially put some money in? Ideas/thoughts/insight on how I can come up with ideas for a small business would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone in advance for your shared knowledge.
