My husand has been searching for a better paying job. He started college but didin't finish. He doesn't want to go back right now because of the way the economy is and he doesn't want to go into anymore debt..Just wondering where a guy could get his foot in the door to some good pay, minus a college degree.. Any ideas?
I just graduated from high school and I really need a job, preferably a good one. The current economy is making it rather difficult to find a good job, especially for someone with virtually no work experience such as myself. Any suggestions?
I'm 18 and never had a Job. I've volunteered at 2 different soup kitchens when I was 16, and I volunteered at regel reptilles (if that's how you spell it) when I was 15, but I was dumb and never got references. What is a place that would hire somebody like me, maybe family dollar? Please don't suggest a fast food joint, being around such a place makes me sick.
I'm writing a paper on welfare and social services. One section is on welfare abuse, and I have to make suggestions on what measures can be put in place to minimize welfare/social services abuse. I have some ideas but I'm looking for more that I may not have thought of.
For the purpose of the paper, eliminating welfare completely is not an option. But the system can be changed, for example instead of issuing food stamps, expand the WIC program and soup kitchens. Or mandate showing proof of working to receive benefits. Or eliminate the per-child benefits. Etc...
Im doing a project on an young offenders Academy, which will offer young criminals and those at risk a chance to change their future in a safe and comfortable environment which will help them to get back into education and training, teaching them social and life skills, the aim is to prevent them from re offending by offering them a chance to really get involved with the community, the Academy will be linked to collaborative partnerships with organisations which will sponsor and act as a charity to wards funding the project.
Design : (this is where i need your help!)
The concept of the design s to create a space which will reflect social behaviours in a civilised manor, i want to create a space which will un consciously manipulate the behaviours of the users to improve their behaviours overall, for instance my question was... what are the factors or metaphorical measures which cause the postcode wars within London?
How can i adopt these ideas into a physical space?
How can we integrate a way of giving back something to community? for example a kitchen within the Academy which will server food in a Academy restaurant to the community which serves the comment, food being grown in the garden of the facility by the inmates, or maybe to serve food to the poor,
Please comment, give your feed back, and opinions. ask me any questions.
Currently I'm attending college and trying do earn my AS in pilot training, but its rather expensive and I found out I'm a couple of classes away from being able to receive my airport management certification. So I guess my main question would be, will that aid me in finding a new job at an airport?
So every woman wants that tall, dream quality man who can provide them with a house and car and be able to fix things that break and build new things. That has been a manly trait from day 1. So what happens to those guys who fail miserably on household projects and don't know anything about auto mechanics?
I am 16 in year 11 and planning to do something for my next year but i am confused which one to do, my dad keep telling me to do Plumbing and i want to do IT my dads says if you're doing IT courses there is alot of other people doing this and you wont get any jobs in the future and Plumbing is good.

I am looking for some ideas about skilled trades in Canada that would appeal to a female. I am only 100 lbs and am not looking for construction or stuff like that and also something that is in demand, something that I will get a job doing. Any suggestions?
By machines I mean things like radios, cars, kitchen stoves, etc. things that you're likely to encounter around the house, in everyday life. Are there any jobs in the military which can make use of this skill?
I live in Pa and would like to start a career as an interior designer, where do I begin?
A small business to begin with of course...
I find that one of the most challenging things to starting a business is coming up with an idea with the kind of business you want to have. This is not easy for me.
What are some things/ideas/places you could recommend to me for starting a business? One of my friends tells me to identify a local need within your community and do some research on it and go from there? What are your thoughts about starting an online business? Can I have a business that has 0?nvestment or do I have to initially put some money in?
Ideas/thoughts/insight on how I can come up with ideas for a small business would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone in advance for your shared knowledge.
We (my husband, 2 year old, and 6 month old, and I ) might be living in an RV for 2 years and traveling the US while my husband works. Gas and RV would be paid for by company. I have never been away from my extended family for more than 2 months. Any suggestions on how to get over being home sick as well as making the RV more like home. Thank you
Before she took my brother and I to school. 20 answers in all please and I will get a new question.

I want to be an engineer but i don't know what type or what kind to specialize in. I want to be an engineer that makes a lot of money. I like working on hand-on stuff, building stuff, and traveling. If I can't have all of those requirements, I just want that makes a lot of money and builds a lot of things. Any suggestions? Any engineers around to give some suggestions?
My husband is convinced if we put our cans of beer in our outside fridge (empty) in the mud room it will chill faster than if we put it inside our (full) kitchen fridge. Is that true or false?
