I'm rather calm and a bit of a reserved person. Can a reserved personality still be ok for a restaurant host job??? I'm debating whether I should go for it and try it. I'm not saying I can't talk to people, but I'm just a reserved/quiet. I AM friendly tho

I applied for a host job at a restaurant and I got the job, but they are doing a background check on me. I have never been arrested, I have no felonies or misdemeanors, no warrants. BUT, I did get an under aged drinking ticket a little while ago, and it wasn't a d.u.i.. Is this something I should be worried about?

I had a job hosting at a restaurant once and I hated it. I'm definitely a nice guy, I just never make good first impressions and even assuming I find a job that I don't have to interact with people very much I have to make a good first impression to get the job, any advice?

I like to be alone a lot and for the most part I am pretty reserved. I can be outgoing at times but for the most part no. Yet, I really want to get married. I enjoy working in the restaurant industry (specifically hosting) which involves a lot of interaction, and my career goal is to be a counselor. If I like being alone so much and am very quiet and reserved why are my goals and interests so people oriented?
