When I say average joe worker, I don't mean lazy worker. I mean a worker thats isn't special. Someone who doesn't go above and beyond his job duties. But not a bad or lazy employee either.. Just a average joe. So, in food service jobs, how common are average Joe workers? Would you say, pretty much every single food restaurant has atleast one average joe worker?

Take a typical guy who never finished high school. What kinds of legitimate jobs do most of these guys do for a living--particularly as they get older, have kids and raise families? I don't mean part-time fast food service jobs, which are actually mainly performed by teenagers already in school.

I was wondering what kind of job would be good for someone who can very easily piss off anyone. Probably customer service or food service jobs wouldn't work very well. I meant a job in which that characteristic would be helpful

I'm a 16-year that wants a full time job over the summer. I don't really want any type of food service jobs (McDonalds, OliveGarden, Etc.) not even the movie theaters. I'm organized, good with the computer, and a hard worker. So where should I work at?

It's too late for lifeguarding, and you really wouldn't want me to have control over the life or death of people x3 I'm specifically looking at Best Buy, Gamestop, Target, Office Depot, though I'm open to others. If there's any internship-type things whose deadline hasn't passed, in Maryland, PLEASE tell me, it would be very helpful. And NO food service jobs(except possibly Chipotle) unless the pay is particularly high or the treatment of employees is EXTREMELY good.

I have no choice but to move out very soon and i don't want to settle for less and struggle to barely get by. Some help is very much needed!!!!!!

I'm currently working retail and I really want out. My job is pretty chill and easy and I make good money but I don't want to work in a place where I feel like I can't give it my all. I just don't care about the job and sometimes I feel like I slack off at work just because my lack of interest (I always catch myself and make myself make up for my lack of work). I want a job where I'll be helping people or just something other than retail/food service. What are some jobs that college students can get over summer vacation?

I'm a sophomore in high school looking for something different than the usual food service/mall job. I applied to my local bank as a teller but lost out to another girl from my school. She was also looking for a first job, but she had personal connections with the hiring section. The salary for that job was $9.50 an hour. What are some similar jobs that do not require that the workers have graduated high school? Entry level is fine, and I'd work for minimum wage if I had to. I'm not afraid of hard work but I'm not so much into manual labor. I'd prefer something more intellectual, like the bank teller job referenced before. My references are good and my grades/class rank/other school records are impeccable, but I don't have any work experience other than babysitting. Thanks for your help and if you have any suggestions, that would be wonderful! i'm located near Kansas City, KS, if that helps in your search.

I am a recent graduate from SF State and have a Bachelors in Psychology. Most part time retail and food service jobs wont take me because I am "over qualified". I am looking for something higher paying and full time. I have been searching since May. Does anyone know of a good Employment Agency in Concord, CA and the surrounding area? I need a job ASAP thank you.

Are there any good part-time jobs available in the evenings and weekends that do not involve retail or food service? I need a part-time job to supplement my monthly income, but I would like to stay away from working at the mall or a dining establishment. I also don't want to be involved with eBay. Suggestions welcome, please.
