Canada has had a number of terrorist plots, but all of them were stopped by Canadian cops and security services. Compare that to America, where terrorists succeed on the regular - the Atlanta Olympics, Oklahoma City, September 11, the anthrax attacks, the DC sniper, Ft. Hood, the LAX counter shooting, the Jewish Federation shooting in Seattle, the Little Rock recruiter murders, the Unabomber, the first World Trade Center bombing, the LaGuardia locker bombing, and so on. These were all terrorist events that America's multi-billion dollar, 200,000+ employee system of police and intelligence agencies failed to stop. And in some cases like the anthrax attacks or the LaGuardia bomb - failed to even SOLVE! How does this happen? Do cops and intelligence agents in America need to go up to Canada to get some advanced training, or something? Because clearly they are hot garbage at their jobs right now.

See... After all these months and months of waiting.. I finally got my name signed on the dotted line. I have a shot at being an Army Ranger. Not a generic "Ranger", but actually have a shot at joining the 75th Ranger Regiment. I know there has to be some sort of tactical jobs out there that would be similar to what I would be trained for. I'd need a college degree to join the FBI HRT but I'm sure that the Government has tactical teams for specific purposes right? Please help. Thanks Oh and this is for when I get out of the Military

"Seven former directors of the Central Intelligence Agency on Friday urged President Obama to reverse Attorney General Eric Holder's decision to hold a criminal investigation of CIA interrogators who used enhanced techniques on detainees. The directors, whose tenures span back as far as 35 years, wrote a letter to the president saying the cases have already been investigated by the CIA and career prosecutors, and to reconsider those decisions makes it difficult for agents to believe they can safely follow legal guidance. "Attorney General Holder's decision to re-open the criminal investigation creates an atmosphere of continuous jeopardy for those whose cases the Department of Justice had previously declined to prosecute," they wrote. "Those men and women who undertake difficult intelligence assignments in the aftermath of an attack such as September 11 must believe there is permanence in the legal rules that govern their actions," the seven added. But in their letter to Obama, the directors wrote that not only is there a significant personal burden put on agents forced to defend themselves, "but this approach will seriously damage the willingness of many other intelligence officers to take risks to protect the country." They added that the president has the authority to decide which legal recommendations to permit for interrogation methods, but at no time is public disclosure helpful for intelligence officers trying to protect the U.S. from further attacks. The directors also warned that if the investigations are opened up, they fear that the assistance given to the United States by foreign intelligence agencies may jeopardize future cooperation. "Foreign services are already greatly concerned about the United States' inability to maintain any secrets. They rightly fear that, through these additional investigations and the court proceedings that could follow, terrorists may learn how other countries came to our assistance in a time of peril," they wrote. "As a result of the zeal on the part of some to uncover every action taken in the post-9/11 period, many countries may decide that they can no longer safely share intelligence or cooperate with us on future counter-terrorist operations. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/18/ex-cia-chiefs-decry-holder-interrogator-probe-letter-obama/ _____________________________________________ So was Dick Cheney Right after all ? Read the articles "Current CIA Director Leon Panetta responded by a spokesman saying he appreciates Obama's "strong support for the men and women of the CIA," and suggested while he was in league with the sentiment of the directors, he is bound to the administration." Translation of statement above..." He's an idiot and maybe even disloyal but he's my boss" "but this approach will seriously damage the willingness of many other intelligence officers to take risks to protect the country." I think you're right folks. The evidence is mounting up and it all points in one direction. Dear Mr Violator Re: "HOW YOU PEOPLE CAN EVER(!) JUSTIFY TORTURE IS BEYOND ME..." Question for you...Do you hear me justifying torture? No you dont't but not for the reason you may think. I don't try to justify it because frankly I don't give a d**n what you or anyone else thinks about what WE AMERICANS DO TO PROTECT THE LIVES OF OUR CITIZENS! I Am Not seeking your approval or asking your permission. Are we clear on that? This is War, not a frigging court room! Thank you and have a nice day. Thanks Brianne. Why do we waste so much energy apologizing for things that are 'necessary' to keep people safe here in our own country? Let them whine and complain. It's our very lives we're talking about here. Our children and grand children's lives. Amen Donald! News Flash..Obama just released a statement about this. He says these seven should F*** OFF. He's backing Holder all the way! Why Mr. President? Why would you sign an executive order preventing the FBI and other law enforcement officers from doing their job and duty to protect the American people? W199-Eye(also W199i) WF 213 589, was a Investigation being carried out by various people in both the Central Intelligence Agency and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Clinton was the first President to "interfere" with the Investigation, but not long after George Bush got into office, it was tightened and, as John O Neil, FBI Anti-Terrorism chief said, completely killed. John O' Neil quit his job in disgust, and leaked W199-EYE to the British Press. He was not long after hired by Marvin Bush to protect the World Trade Center. His contract started on 9/11, when Marvin Bush's ended, he was killed by the attack on the 24th floor trying to guide people down to the bottom floor. FBI Agent Robert Wright has tried to blow the whistle on W199-EYE and restrictions on investigations of the Bin Laden family.
