Hello, I'm currently a high school student and I either want to enter college with a declare major of either Biotechnology ( science ) or Computer Science ( science ). I live in the state of California and I want to know what major is better and more beneficial. I hear stories of people saying that Computer jobs now in days are being moved to India ( not over dramatic alot ). Also I hear that Biotechnology job requires professional schools ( which I don't want to spend my money in ). So what major is better? ( money wise, job available wise )

I am going to college soon and am majoring in engineering. I am leaning towards chemical engineering which I know is converting materials into usable products with chemistry, calculus, physics, etc. Yet, I am not too sure exactly what jobs are available under this degree. I know there are some but I am not exactly sure what they are specifically. Can anyone please just list some jobs that re available after you graduate with a degree for chemical engineering? Please and thank you. And do not be rude please.

The biotechnology programs I have looked at on various colleges websites seem to focus more on pharmaceuticals, or does biotech also cover my needs? I'm currently a student in high school and am wanting to go into a field of microbiology. Some areas that have interested me are environmental and cellular. I was wondering what kind of stable jobs are offered in these areas. I don't want to be a doctor or go into research, and I know that can be very limiting. Thanks in advance.

Ok, so i live in the UK and i'm currently in my first year of AS and it's about that time i need to start thinking about my future. First of all, i am unsure of what degree to do. Currently my ideal job would be something that would involve working with animals however i do tend to change my mind a lot. My first question is should i do i general biology degree or something more specific such as zoology? I have done some research into working with animals but i haven't got very far. I know that these kinds of jobs don't tend to offer very high pay. So i was wondering what the best sort of career would be if i wanted to work with animals and also what sort of career working with animals would give offer a higher salary than the others. Also, what other careers would be available to me with my biology degree that could also be interesting and offer a lot of pay? TL;DR: Should I do Biology or zoology? What hands on careers are there with animals? What careers with animals get paid a lot? What other careers are there in biology that are interesting and have high pay? Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help :)
