I just got a job as an overnight caregiver for an adorable elderly woman. I went to LinkedIn to list it as my current position, and it wants me to include a company. I'm not technically self-employed, because the woman's daughter is the one who hired me and will be signing my checks. I also don't want to write "the home of an elderly woman," obviously. What could I put that would make sense and sound professional?

I would love a job caring for people with physical or mental disabilities (any age), children, or the elderly. I have plenty of experience working with people who have disabilities. I am outgoing, energetic, friendly, and I love people. I am a hard worker and I am very creative. Would I be able to get a job like this without having a college education? Do I need to have some sort of special training?

I was a caregiver for 10 years until he died a few months ago. The last couple of years was really intense - help with bathing, dressing, etc. I still feel physically and emotionally exhaused. How long does it take to recover and what can I do to help the process?

I would really like to work with seniors, not as a health care person, just a simple part time job. A receptionist at a senior's home, a driver or something similar would be fine, but it seems most of these types of jobs require some form of specialized education or training, which I don't have. Any suggestions?
