I am a 11th grader, and recently people have been asking me what I would like to get a job doing. I always lie and say I don't know but my sole ambition is to publish a novel. Obviously I know how hard it is to get into the publishing world. Thus, I have been wondering what other professions are out there that I could enjoy going into while aspiring to become an author?

I was always told that an associate's degree is equivalant to a high school diploma. and usually diplomas cant get you any good paying occupations. i am too lazy to study and get a bachelor's degree from college, i dont even know what major i want to do. when i look through the newspaper ad, many jobs require at least an associates degree and couple years of experience. i dont have experience or anything, i dont know where to start. can someone tell me what kind of job i can get with an associate degree with no experience? and what is the pay for each.

Is it possible to save some time in studying cardiology and not going to specific classes. If you buy a professional book and study from it, can you just take a test to prove you have studied and that you do know about what you are trying to become. Like a self-taught cardiologist that learned from just the books because he didn't have time to go to classes and was working.

This person thinks he's better than everyone at everything, thinks he know's everything. It's difficult working with someone like that. He constantly brags about everything. He spends more time talking to people about himself, what he buys and what he is doing than actually doing anything at work. He tells the same stories over and over again. Any suggestions about how to deal with him without getting fired from my job?
