I love traveling and working with kids, and I am looking for a camp counselor job in Europe (it would be awesome to find one in Prague or Switzerland) that could be either outdoor-oriented or arts-oriented (although nothing with surfing or SCUBA diving). If anyone has any ideas, listings, or contacts for such a job that would be great! Thanks!

I'm 18 and next summer, I'll have finished my freshman year of college. Are there any camp counselor jobs I could do? Would I be a junior counselor at my age or what? (I'm talking about sleep away camp) Oh...and I'm not the best swimmer. I mean, I know how to swim, but I know a lot of camps need lifeguards. I can't be a lifeguard counselor haha

I'm currently a college sophomore deciding majors. I'm thinking of getting my bachelors in psych and then applying to grad school to get my masters in education specializing in school counseling. My school has a school counseling graduate program (Hunter College in NYC). I want to become a high school counselor. Are secondary school counselor jobs secure in the economy? Are there good prospects? How competitive are the school counseling grad programs? Are they tough to get into?

My boyfriend and I were discussing the purpose of credit counselors. My boyfriend says that they only suggest things to you and its your choice to make, which I agree with. I dont think that credit counselors are bad, but I think that their job is based on convincing individuals that their service is beneficial. Do you think that convincing is part of a credit counselors job?

Hi, I'm a teenager about to finish high school looking for a camp counselor job during the summer. I'm specifically looking for a sleepaway camp that will hire me as a counselor (or counselor in training). I am only 17 and won't turn 18 until next year. I don't have any work experience or a specific camp that I'm an alumni of. Some people have said that camp jobs are still open even now, while others say I should have applied 5 months ago. Is it too late for me to find an open position at a camp?

I was planning on getting a School Counseling degree but after much research i realized that getting a job in that field is very difficult. My sister has hers and still cant get a counselor job after a year which is surprising because she has amazing grades and has a lot of experience. Now I'm thinking Dental Hygiene as it has been something that has always been interesting to me. Anyone know how jobs in this field are looking? Science has always been my weakest course so I'd be at a disadvantage already :(

I have an interview today for a camp counselor job, and part of the interview is them watching me interact with the kids in the after-school program. I have experience with kids as a volunteer coach and referee, but not in this setting. What exactly are they looking for when I have to interact with the kids? I love working with kids, but I get so nervous during interviews and want to be prepared! Thanks! (:
