 | What do they do? What programs do you have to take in University/ courses in high school? What company/ organization do they work for? What attire do most exercise physiologists wear?

 | I'm studying Kinesiology and now it's time to decide on a specific area I'd do. So I've been thinking along the line of personal trainer to exercise physiologist...and then i thought of occupational therapist. I thought of this because it seems like one of those noble and rewarding careers...and not a desk job either. While being a strength coach might be more exciting than working with disabled people, the later would be deem more benificial for the world.
Most important...i'm now seeing that OT is becoming like PT and they both are having students get a Master's Degree (is this mandatory?). And that is not up my alley at all. I want to see what my opportunities are with a Bachelor's degree only. I suppose i could be an "assistant" whatever that means.
Do i have to be in a "OT program"..like kinesiology isn't enough?

 | I am interested in becoming an exercise physiologist, and am looking towards obtaining my M.D. I was wondering what sorts of things an exercise physiologist does, what kinds of job opportunities are available, and what a rough estimate at salary would be.

 | Do you earn a bachelors degree in it? Does it only require the general 4 years of college? What kind of jobs can you get with it? I heard that while taking classes for this you can also be taking some classes towards a major such as, athletic training and such....
Just any answers the these questions or anything else you can tell me about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

 | Like a fitness trainer or physical therapist.. but what are the different options?
As someone with MD and struggling with my own problems, and then succeeding the odds, I'm motivated to help other people with similar problems or just fitness overall, but I don't want to work at a regular gym. I'm not super fit and muscular, but it's just something that interests me and I just found out while taking a human anatomy class and learning all the muscles. I got so much into it and researching what each muscle does, and what exercises work those muscles, etc.
That helped me out a lot with MD, and I hope to one day help others.
any suggestions? All I can think of are physical therapists (because i've seen some), but there must be other careers/jobs out there in that field?

 | Hey all I live in northern Virginia and have a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology (worthless). Any suggestions on some good jobs that only require a bachelors degree and will then provide the rest of your education?
Military is out of the question I'm in grad school at the moment.

 | I got some whey protein for after my workouts. I was wondering if its which way is best to drink it. This is my schedule now.
Off day: Drink 1 scoop with 7 oz. of water and 1 scoop of peanut butter
Workout Day: Drink 2 scoops after workout with 8oz. of water and 2 scoops of peanut butter
Is this good or should I substitute water with milk? It is BodyFortress Chocolate Whey Protein by the way...
Thanks!

 | Ever since I was about 9-10 years old (Im 17 now) I have loved science, especially the human body. However I had never thought about going into a medical field as a career. Now I am giving it some serious thought but there are so many catagories to choose from and even more choices in those catagories. I would like to know what some of the non-obvious careers could be (nothing obvious like 'doctor' or 'nurse' but types of nurses/doctors would be ok such as neonatal nurse etc.). Also, are there other careers that maybe aren't totally 'medical' related but I could still learn about the human body and stuff and use that knowledge in a different field? I know this is a long question and I know Im probably going to get some sarcastic answers to it but oh well! Thanks!

 | Asking because my usually freakishly healthy 74 year old step dad went for his yearly check-up yesterday and found out his blood pressure was 160/110. I know it should be 120/80, but don't know exactly how bad/dangerous 160/110 is/could be. All input is appreciated.
