An older friend of mine who recently injured her neck wants me to be her home health aide. It is a job that is through the county. I was wondering if there are certain stipulations for qualifying for the position like taking certain classes. I finished taking classes for a health unit coordinator program and got my degree. I also know that they require a background check and drug testing. My record is clean so the background check does not concern me. I am very close to this person because she was there for me when my family wasn't. The main reason why I want the job is to spend more time with her bacause this person means the world to me. Do you think I'll be able to get this job?

I recently finished my CNA certification. I am considering doing Home Health Aid as a part time job until I can get something permanent with benefits. I am also working on becoming an RN. I am more familiar with working in a doctors office. I was an MA for a while...but now I am a student. Also if you are in the ATL metro area what are some good agencies to work for? Is Home Health Care a good job? What does it mean when they pay per diem?

I need to know what the qualifications and job description for a Home Health Homemaker or Provider is. They are a step below a Home Health Aide and I know they don't require a certificate or license like an Aide and they don't make quite as much money either. Does anyone know what the qualifications and job description are?

I have a liberal arts bachelor's degree and the only thing it has done for me is land me a job in a home health office. The job sucks but the pay is ok. I really do want to go back to school. I am sick of being in a cubicle everyday. I always loved social sciences. But now that I have grown to love the geriatric population, I would love to work with them as well. I am debating between a middle school social studies MAT degree or becoming a PTA or OTA. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
