I want to get a certificate and move to the medical field. There are so many scammy for profit schools though. Or "schools" that are in suites. I mean come on. A school in an office building? and they are like hyper expensive and have horrible reviews from the students that warn of expenses and no jobs afterwards. What are good certificates that hospitals actually accept?, and what are good schools to get them from?

I'd like to know the salary/chances of getting hired with having a degree vs. having certification in medical office administration... And so arises another question... If I do get certified, legitimately through a local college, I'm sure it would be close to an entry-level career. So, what are the chances of working my way up and making more because of my experience?
