I'm a licensed male nurse in Asia and currently lives in Asia. I wanted to work in Australia, how do I find a nursing job while here in Asia? Are there reputable agencies in Australia with contacts in Asia I can connect with? I'm industrious, smart and wanted to travel and work in other countries as a nurse. I am in the Marine Core, and my girl friend is going to school to me a Nurse. Here pretty soon I will have training and she will be going to grad school for nursing (or something like that). I've been a nurse for 22 years with experience in Labor/ Delivery, OB/GYNE office nurse and I now currently teach Childbirth Education/ Lamaze. I'm looking for a day-time position that doesn't require patient care. I'm BSN trained. Any suggestions on what types of nursing jobs I should be looking for?

When you go to apply for a nursing job do they do a fingerprint check or do you have to sign a paper that gives them the right to check you on the internet. There is a difference in how some companies do the check. If I go for an office job they check the internet if I go for security they check the fingerprints via the FBI.

My mum has been nursing nearly all her life and has additional nursing-related qualifications. She is looking to move to either Dubai, Qatar or Abu Dhabi for a better way of living.
